looks good, but why do i get a very warhammery feel of everything blizzard makes

not that its a bad thing, if anything i just wished that GW could get the same quality on all their computer game conversions.

it looks okay, but i really hope theres something new to it. if they keep doing the same stuff over again it won't be worth it. SCII looks like a repeat of the old one, so lets hope they bring in some new stuff here.

Yeah, Starcraft 2 does look rather disappointing. I could have made it so much more exciting. I've never been a big player of Diablo, but it seems pretty good. Do Blizzard still do that 12-unit control thing? That really annoyed me.

To some extent, actually, I agree with Verruckt. Blizzard seem to be running off the success of their first engine. Starcraft, Diablo and Warcraft were all great games, but now there are fuckloads of great games, it's going to take something more than previous success, evidence of which I have not yet seen.

Also we also might want to keep in mind the quality of Singleplayer RPG's v.s these debacles. Diablo is more of a giant dick contest than actual game based on gameplay and Storyline.

Just try to compare the quality of an elderscrolls game, or earthbound. It just doesnt work.

diablo and diablo 2 were great games... i just hope they dont ruin D3...

after all, the people who made the first two are gone... WoW people are making d3, and i dont want diablo to be like world of warcraft, cause it sucks...
i wish D3 would go back to the dark feeling of diablo 1... (for christs sake, they have rainbows and bunnies and bright colours in it... not cool)
and yes, i know, diablo 2 wasn't exactly dark... i think it should have been, but it wasn't really

but it still turned out ok, so here's hoping D3 will be the same

i can imagine why people like it, i just think it... baby-ish...

i hate 'lame' fantasy(you know, elves, dwarfs, dragons, all that crap), i see dragons and elves in the same league as fairies and munchkins... not cool at all, and baby-ish to say the least

thats what made diablo cool, no gay dragons, elves, orcs ect... just humans, demons and some mad looking angels in the second game.
also, WoW is the stereo-typical 'nerds' game, and you have to pay to play it which is a rip-off...

I never played WOW, it's teh ghey, but Diablo is teh awesome.

This looks pretty good too... I suspect me, Duke and Boomer will be playing it for hours on end O_o

Starcraft was shit, and Starcraft 2 will be too... Supreme Commander all the way!
