Thanks for merging the topics.

I think I can manage with Elven and Evil Men Siege Weapons. Thanks for the help.

Currently:

Please give me your suggestions for heroes and ring heroes. Particularly in these factions:

Dwarves
Goblins
Isengard
Men of the East

Please try to think of existing characters, but I might use new heroes too, at least in Evil Men (They don't have any heroes so far)

Go to Wars of the East mod for ideas. Or other mods with Rhun and Harad.
A changed man is only the same man with a different outlook of life.

Harad:
-Battering Rams.
-Siege Ladders.
-Mumakil pulling Siege Towers
-Corsair ships, which would be useful for bombarding arrows and ballista bolts. Albeit, they'd only be able to be used against seaside fortresses.
Rhun:
-Battering Rams.
-Siege Ladders.
-Mounted archers riding 'round the walls, volleying inside them.
---
That's all I've got :p though, the film "Kingdom of Heaven" would probably be good for ideas.

Every faction should\could have battering rams..
Both of 'em could have ladders and ballistas, Rhun could have siege towers, even though it would probably be hell to drag along, thinking on the long way they'd have to drag them :p

Yeah :p well, there's not much that could be used for them. I mean, we don't know how they handled siege or anything similar to it; here's looking at you, Lauri :p

Thanks for the ideas.

What about Ballista Vs. Catapult for the Easterlings and Haradrim?

It's debatable, really. It's possible they could have gotten them from Mordor in exchange for their allegiance.

sorry for the interruption but what about ballista or catapults mounted on mumakil or even ladders that drop down from the
things on mumakil backs down on to walls and have battering rams hung between 2 mumakil these are just pretty basic ideas but what do you think?

Seems like a waste of Mumakil when you could just use a few men. Maybe, though.

I mean it to be more like a haradrim version of the grond but using mumakil

I don't think they should have a ram as powerful as Grond, but a larger one would be better.

I'd like to get some opinions on units for the elven faction. Firstly, should the Lorien Elves have horses?

Also, should I keep the Ents on elves or move them to Rohan? I don't know what other siege weapons to give the elves.

1. I havent seen many people give them horses. In my opinion due to there location, i think they would travel on foot most of the time.
2. Eagles is a possible siege weapon for the elves.

Some have used ballistae for a Lindon siege weapon, but I can't find anything official to back that up. I see why EA gave them the Ents.

I dont see why they couldnt attack walls :p

Another possible way is to give ents to the elves, Then give rohan a battering ram.

I thought of that, but I don't want to. I'd like to give elves something else. I'll look around at existing elven factions in the mods, too.
