Over on the official Ra3 site, EA have released a first look at the box art:

Realism is so overrated it isn't even funny. You already know what happens in reality, how is that entertaining...?

.... im really not liking the over the top soviet favoritism they are showing on everything...
it looks like they just took the concept art and slapped it onto the cover... i wanted a more *normal8 looking cover, one that does so heavily favor soviets...
edit: maybe if they had three different box arts each reflecting one side it might be ok?.. but still...

Looks nice but that will only be the US version I bet. We mostly get the shit covers.

they need to good old 'face of some guy who may or may not even be in game' as the cover
(im refering to the face on the front of the red alert 2 cover... who is he even suppose to be?)
but they should do that though, keep with the good old face pictures, they looked better then that....

tibs suns cover had(what i always thought to be) a disk thrower infantry on the front.
still, i think RA2's in soviet commander...
(also, you look at some concept art, and normal grunts seem to have some pretty high tech stuff...)

Random soldier, maybe they should put the bear's face symmetrically on the cover with googles, or something on the eyes like all the other ones. That would look really funny.

The guy on the Red Alert 2 cover is Volkov, the soviet commander and special unit. (Somebody calls him Volkov, other calls him the soviet commander. Please no discussion about that. He's both of them)
The guy on the Yuri's Revenge cover is of corse, Yuri.
The girl on this new Red Alert 3 cover is Gina Carano, that plays Natasha Volkova in the game.

He has always been knowns as Volkov. But yes, i think it's ACTUALLY is a random Soviet Commander that only stands there to show more soviet style in the picture...Again, I love the new RA3 cover...
