The fifthteenth Red Alert 3 profile has been released; this week it's the Empire's Hero Unit; Yuriko Omega:

Posted Image

Based on the transmissions intercepted from the Empire of the Rising Sun, this woman is known as Yuriko Omega, presumably a codename. Records of the exact origins of this Yuriko Omega are either highly classified or may not even exist. What has been gleaned, however, is that she must be the rumored survivor of an intensive program conducted by Shiro Sanitarium, a private paramilitary R&D firm seeking alternatives to Japan's increasing dependence on high technology in its military affairs. That program must have been dehumanizing to the say the least, yet the results seem self-evident: Yuriko appears to have powers that can best be described as monstrous. Her mind has been "sharpened" to such an edge that it can cut through entire squads seemingly at her whim. How exactly this power is manifest, or what effect such powers must have on this woman's psyche, is also unknown.

You can read the full article, along with a short video of this unit in action here, at RedAlert3.com.

Realism is so overrated it isn't even funny. You already know what happens in reality, how is that entertaining...?

Instead of Red Alert just getting killed by paratrooping bears, EA had to execute it with this bullshit.

And so all sensible C&C fans die.

Because, you know, we wouldn't want fun getting in the way of your super-serious game.

Well, when it comes to writing an expository essay about counter-insurgent tactics, I'm of the old school. First you tell them how you're going to kill them. Then you kill them. Then you tell them how you just killed them.

Too cute! | Server Status: If you can read this, it's up |

I hardly see how an anime schoolgirl as a hero has any relevance at ALL to C&C or Red Alert.

My problem is this game has no point other than to sell to pubescent sex obsessed weeaboos.

I bet in Red Alert 4 (or RA3 addon), if they have another special unit, it'll be a kid that resembles the one from the Grudge films (or basically any Japanese horror film).

ROFLMAO!!! HAHAHAHA!!!

I couldn't stop laughing. Yeah, maybe they will and when the grudge girl comes, everybody runs away because she is too ugly and everything around her just explodes and dies. It gets the sun falls down and everything turns into ice... LOL

You could easily shrink it by moving the text closer together and the images well placed behind the text.

This is new incarnation of Yuri :crazed:

Precisely. YURIko -> Is that not enough of a hint?

And maybe I'm a little too proud of our modding division, but something tells me that Omega is a nod at MO:APYR.

No problem. I made it a link for the meantime. I'm gonna bring back a smaller version of the banner later...

They "should" have armored her, but their visions are not high enough... They only cares for money now, and not so much about the fans...
