Is this mod still alive or will it be archived soon and never done?

Been a little bit since the last post, I wonder whats going on? However, I doubt this mod will die, many people are suppoting Kwen, and it looks like alot of work has been put into it, so I doubt that Kwen would let it die. Kwen does have a personal life, and we can't expect him to work day and night. I'm sure we'll hear something soon. :p

Soon, is a relative word. Well here I am, the 29th of august. Now I regret that I haven't done a lot of work since my last appearance.

I've been having exceptional problems with base faction coding with my mod. My citadel heroes do not read, my walls have no geometry, and I cannot accurately incorporate my spellbooks.

These problems are delaying my Beta. If I can solve these problems then it is possible, possible that I may get an elven beta out in the near future.

for now,

--kwen--

Yes its still in production. good to know people are watching. ;)

Guess this is your citadel problem? I had to recode the faction, commandsets, re-create the base files and such to get it working.

Well the last update is long ago.
Is this mod still alive?

Would be a pity if it would die.

normally modders tell the public if the mod is dead

since SDK Kwen hasn´t done that, I guess it´s alive

A while back, Kwen was having trouble accessing the forums, but I think he's fixed that problem now. Last time I emailed him, he was in one of those "I don't really feel like modding right now" slumps that hit all modders every once in a while. He also had other stuff he was busy with. Don't worry, the mod won't die - Kwen's had long absences before, and he's always come back :p .

So did Kwen get his issues fixed?
If not I can help fix them.

You mean all those problems earlier in the topic? The version of the mod I have still has them, but it's pretty outdated, so I don't know if Kwen's still having those issues.

*whistles innocently*

Yeah... I've been here and there, everywhere it seems. But not here lol.

NO, I have not fixed my major bugs... However I have thought up a new strategy that could fix it, but I am not certain.

As for updates... well laziness is the crime there, I have stuff to put into an update, I just haven't done it.

I need to spend a weekend, watch all 3 movies, beat my 6 LOTR games, and get inspired and into the mood for LOTR!

I'll let you guys know. :p

Careful. This link is DANGEROUS. Do NOT click it. This one, however, is fine.

Just release large updates. Small ones are a pain to create.

...? I disagree... Small ones are easier for me to make for the reason that I can release a couple of things I've been working on and it counts as an update :p A big one I have to have more done :xcahik_:

What I meant by that is lots of little ones vs. one or two large ones.
