Split screen would be like half of the screen is for one player and the other half for the other :xcahik_:
(so no you dont need 2 screens, but you could do that :thumbsupsmiley: )
Just like in Jazz Jackrabbit 2 (really old but cool game) :thumbsupsmiley:

That with 4 ppl you would have your entire screen split into 4 equal parts

if you have seen the movie that i have posted at the second page about minas tirith, you will see that its realistic.its like defend and retreat.you even get to go to the seventh level and look down at the battle below.

Having watched the gameplay footage, I'm not impressed. Of course, I don't think I was expecting much better.

Why of all things does the Gondor Warrior have a 2-hander? It seems like in all fighting games, the shield gets ignored in general - Obviously a 'uge choppa is easier to animate or something. This is really just nitpicking but... My bigger beef is how arcadey it looks - is it really too much to ask to maybe have a fighting game where you fight properly, instead of (as it appears from the gameplay) applying pressure to "chop" before your opponent does?

Also art-wise the palette looks dull. Could just be their way of having MT look dark, but i hate to break it to them, there ARE light sources so there SHOULD be some specular highlights. I guess it's a bit better than the unholy bloom they've got going in the pelennor fields shots...

OH AND ROYAL GUARD SO INACCURATE GAH.

I really don't do requests and my Arnor Soldier is not fit for BFME. Don't ask me for either.

yeah,i kinda agree, but it is realistic.I've looked at a preview of the MT mission.when the orcs entered MT,they slaughtered the AI like crazy, just like in the movie.

Gah, actually watched the movie, and it dampened my hopes for it. The mage.....*shudders*
Why can't the scout just look like a ranger? It would be nice to see something other than silver/grey/white for gondor troops.
And yes, why not shields? It might actually add some depth, rather than "I hit first! I win!"

Agree, even my friend, who is one of the worst players ever can beet a hard. And the game has to be a challange, so you wont do the campaings in one day.And cant wait till demo.I even got my old Return of the King disk again.
The race of Men is failing, the blood of Númenor is all but spent – its pride and dignity forgotten… It is because of Men the Ring survives.

I took a look at the mission video, I really dont think the AI looked that amazing. I didnt see many gondorians dying and in some parts they just stood there.

yeah, you got me there.but another thing i like is that the developer stated that there are 7 levels in MT.he said you defend and retreat, and there is a part where you go to the seventh level, and you look at the whole battle below.and i don't like the heroes in MT mission though.Aragorn wasn't there at the siege at the time, now was he?

I officially hate this game. We have:

- the mage class,

- scouts who can become invisible,

- grenades (yes, REALLY! They're down-sized Isengard bombs),

- ugly units (especially the orcs),

- lore-raping.

I spit on it. And to get a proper taste, go visit their forums: http://pandemicstudi...forum.php?id=16
