As you can read in the title, I've just registered lotr-conquest.net for a year. No, I don't have anything particular in mind with it yet, which is why I'm posting here.
Might be that someone decides Conquest should get a division of its own (not sure why though) or should at least get a website of its own, I have this one booked. If that is not the case and someone else here at Revora has some cool plans and could use it, feel free to make suggestions at any time, I might just give it to you if I'm pleased with the idea

So, happy anticipating.

Edit: I've set up a redirect to this forum for the time being, so if anyone stumbles upon it, they'll land here.
Now be sure to make it worth their while! :p

If you don't want it, there is no point making suggestions as I don't plan to make a site either :p

Well, until we know if it's moddable (at least, decent moddable), there's not to much point in preparing to make a site..
However, if it turns out moddable (which I think, since BF was... dunno how much though :p)... I guess suggestions would flow

It doesn't need to be a modding site, actually. If someone has a cool idea for a fansite, download site, etc. I might still hand it out because I have no use for it at the moment (unless Revora wants it). Plus, I didn't actually expect anything cool to be brought up right now, I just wanted people here to know :p

Edit: Pinned it so that it doesn't get lost once this forum gets really active.

That's a good idea, and a nice name choice!

I have already thought about a fan/modding site, but no time to make it now...

People could make maps for battlefront at least...and I think new heroes and stuff like that.

So it should be ok :D

Well if its going to be a lot like battlefront, how easy is it to mod battlefront?

I've got an idea for the site. How about just like a fan site for now. You already bought it, let's not let it waste. I was thinking pictures, videos, and news about the game. For forums, they could be hosted here on Revora, and people who are members could post their reviews for it on a section. That's just my idea, your welcome to help it or to deny it :shiftee:

Because of the company I think it's definitely going to be very moddable. It's engine is a descendant of the battlefront games, both of which had full toolkits with all the source assets released. And nowadays, almost every company does this because they see it adds value to their game because mods mean replayability which draws more people.

EDIT: Lots of people are worrying about the difficulty to mod battlefront. Lots of people find it hard to even make a map, but it's actually pretty simple and straightforward and I have often wished other map editors worked the same. Like any program it's easy once you get used to where everything is.
