Which INI file holds the info for what maps are selectable in skirmish and multiplayer games? I'm wanting to completely remove all Lord of the Rings related maps from my mod and only have my own maps as a playble option. I have been looking at some of the INI files and can't seem to figure out what controls this part of the game. Thanks in advance to anyone who helps :xcahik_: .

i believe simply deleting or adding maps to map.big is what you need to do. still, I'm partly newbie, so get a second opinion. :xcahik_:

In the Map.BIG open mapcache.ini and delete everthing there, you dont even have to remove the original maps, they just wont be read  ;) ;)

No problem,
If you have any more questions dont hesitate to ask ;)

BTW there is a nice program that could help with some of the parts in the mapcache codes ;) (like the titles and descriptions)
http://eawzone.com/bfme2/mapcache/

check it out sometime, its really neat ;)

Alright, I got the old maps removed but how am I supposed to get any new maps I create useable in my mod? I put my map "The Anvil" in the maps folder of my mod in there with the mapcache.ini but it doesn't show up in the mod. It's in it's own folder named "The Anvil" and everything.

you have to run the game first while your map is in the my bfme2 files/maps folder.
The game wil autogenerate a piece of code for your map inside the mapcache.ini in that maps folder ;)
You copy this piece of code to the mapcache.ini in your mods maps folder, and you are able to play it as you want ;)
