I was wondering if it was possible to have more then 8 players in BFME.
Has anyone tried this?

EVEN if you can code the game to have it, you still need to edit the multiplayer menu and add more player slots, which as far as i know is all hard coded, The only way you might be able to do this is to create an external application that uses the game, and game content.

I don't think it is all hard coded. If you were to add more players to the strings in lotr.str and add the players in worldbuilder it may work.
I wanted to see if it was possible and or if anyone has tried it before I try.

As stated before, you'd first have to edit the maps to support up to 8 players (pretty obvious), edit the APT files to be able to select more than 8 players (ouch) and probably get around some bugs we haven't thought of.

Either way, let us know how it went!

I was thinking the same,
If this game had a proper SDK we could probably do it.
