If you encounter any bugs, balance issues or you just want to post some feedback about the current release, post it here. ;) Thanks.

Note about Internal Errors: Try to remember as much as you can when describing the situation during which you received an Internal Error. After you get it, always remember to backup the except.txt file which appearred in your Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge directory after crash and upload it in your post with report.

Note about Reconnection Errors: Some animations are presumed to cause Reconnection Errors during multiplay (like explosion of Kaamos Cannon/Railgun Tower's weapon). Try to remember as much as you can when describing the situation during which you received an Internal Error. After you get it, always remember to backup the SYNCX.txt file (where X stands for random number from 0 to 9) which appearred in your Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge directory after crash and upload it in your post with report.

Don't report Reconnection Errors if you encountered one on v2.0psi new skirmish maps. This will be fixed in 3.0.

Things which will NOT be fixed in 2.0psi:

- Assault Mappacks are read incorrectly by the mod, you have to rename AM mixes (see forums)
- New maps provided by the mod will most likely cause Reconnection Errors
- Tech slider set to 1 may cause crashes, don't use it


Changes in Patch 1 (18.10.2008):


- Spy can infiltrate buildings back again, he no longer clears garrisons
- There is no longer a Grizzly Tank on water in Epsilon: Duality mission
- Chrono Prison can now clear tank bunkers
- Epsilon: Frozen Candles loading screen fixed
- increased Deviation Fists' explosive missile damage
- Injection affects only one cell now, but it has faster recharge time
- Kaamos Cannon strength decreased
- Scorpion Cell loading screen no longer lists Lasher Tank as veteran unit
- game speed slightly decreased
- Barrels Rack should be displayed correctly in temperate terrain
- South Korean Hornets launched from Aircraft Carriers are veteran now
- Black Eagle attacks aircrafts with missile
- Gate to Allied base in Epsilon: Frozen Candles is actually being destroyed by Starflares now
- basic tanks are twice less effective against infantry when elite now
- Cloning Vats replace Epsilon Airpad in Allied: Paranoiac

lag issues

1. lag issues especially in epsilon country, the psychic interruptor, causing the lag... i think
2. AI units getting stuck at their base or bridge causing major lag

It is suggestion and feedback thread as well wcvechten. Anyway, no matter what this thread is, I'll be listing all bugs reported in the first post so there shouldn't be any mess with it. :D

Actually cloaking DOES lag in YR, especially when it covers a larger area. Yuri also seems to lag more than the Allies or Soviets in default YR, its just not an efficient engine. Theres nothing Speeder can do about that unless he learns assembly etc. And of course the AI could have a larger BaseSpacing, smaller teams, larger Stray, CloseEnough to try and prevent the AI from clogging up... but its not entirely stoppable.

Super unit ideas

Allies
Titan- a large version of apocalypse tank but with 3 barrels
like a turret of a battleship on treads^^

Epsilon
Mother ship- a larger version of flying disk that goes over structures and shoots powerful beam, independence day style^^
or sends out hordes of smaller disk like an aircraft carrier

my suggestion:for the allies-leopard tank the most powerful tank in the N.A.T.O forces.

for the soviets-sniper,spetznas(special forces),t-90 tank.

A suggestion:

Blizzard Tank(new attack)- Fires a blue beam at enemy freezing and killing infantry instantly, freezes armored units
and stop them, freezes structures and stops it's functions. And instead of creating icy cloud, it creates icy blue radiation like at the targeted unit or structure that slows down any land units. So as to fit the description of your Blizzard Tank on our website^^

can mental omega be used with the first decade YR? ive got it working but i have the 'enemy only build basic infantry and police vans' bug, and the 'only have like 8 countrys to choose from in skirmish' bug. YR version is 1.0.0.1 and i have the NP thing that is stated as "the only NP patch used for psi2.0" from the download section.

help?

i have found a bug.
prism tanks dont damage buildings.
not sure about inf and units though.
on a side note: love this mod !!!

I have a few to report.
1. Flak vehicles seem to do very little damage to air units and 0 damage to each other.
2. In the second Soviet level there are Tesla related internal errors as well as one pertaining to the bottom left most demo truck. When I tried to destroy it I got an internal error.
Those are all I have to report SO FAR. Good work on some of the earlier issues however. :rolleyes:

@Comrade Slavik: For the second issue, please upload except.txt which appears after you encounter Internal Error. :rolleyes: Flak vehicles should be used en masse because of their inaccuraccy, but they are perfect in attacking multiple targets at once. And they are not supposed to break through armor.

@Y2K: I'll check.

@Nakor: Did you actually install NPSE? When you are in the main menu, check right-bottom corner and write what it says there. It should say '2.0psi | NPSE'

Spedder meant about the except.txt file, which was created by YR when it crashed. You can find that file in your YR directory.

I found quite a few bugs in the campain, espally Yuri

1. this one was the weirdest when i completed number 3 White Scars it couldn't take me to the next mission so it made me restart White Scars.

2. Frozen Candles loading screen was all fuzzy and blurry (can still read what do i need to do though) also the starflares couldn't destory the gate with the pillboxes on the side.

3. the best bug i found, in Skrimish the snipers can target rocketeers and paratroopers (viruses can do it also)

anyways grand mod love it speeder, :p

i'll see if i can find any more

i uninstalled everything and reinstalled again in this order : YR, OM, NPSE and it shows NPSE in the corner nwo. cheers for the help guys ;)
