In v1.0, heroes were only recruitable from a single location. I've decided, for historical campaigns, to allow them to be recruited from any planet that they visited during the conflict. Furthermore, you will always start with all heroes pertinent to the campaign, so you'll only be required to purchase them from these planets should they perish in combat. This makes finding heroes less enigmatic and also biases their availability based on their participation.

I've compiled a list of hero locations for the Thrawn Campaign from Wookieepedia, however, I'm sure it's not exhaustive. That's why I need your help to fill in any blanks by checking the original sources. I've listed the most important ones, but there are probably others. It would save me a ton of time to focus on other changes if the community could help with this, so thanks in advance.

C'baoth and Calrissian? I might be wrong but I don't remember those names on the roster of PR's heroes... Am I getting excited over nothing 9since they were already in Thawn camp and I didn't know) or is this a hint at more material that is being added for 1.1?
I looked around some one wookiepedia but didn't find anything more really. everytime I thought I found something I'd alt-tab back here and see that it was already posted. You are very thorough PR.

Yeah, I just happen to be working on the 1.1 version of campaigns at the moment, which could cover anything from spacing planets to adding new heroes. Can't really do TC without those two.

Thanks anyway for looking, but I think I got as much out of Wookieepedia as I could. It's surprising how incomplete some of the articles can be. Did Mon Mothma really just sit around on Coruscant the whole time?

Will 1.1 TC include more ships per side? Obviously not Dreadnoughts, but other ship classes, like ISDs/VSDs for Empire and MC-80s/small ships for Rebels?

On the subject, I also have "The Last Command Sourcebook", I'll give it a look if you want :p
Final question - what about Winter? Rebelion could use another spy unit :]

Yes, I'm trying to give notable NR member worlds such as Ando roughly two wings of fighter support, give or take based on importance. You may see the odd capital, but I believe most of them would have been deployed with fleets instead of spread out, hence all of Thrawn's feints. Just about the opposite is true for the Empire in that you won't see many fighters.

On the subject, I also have "The Last Command Sourcebook", I'll give it a look if you want :xd:

Please do. The Thrawn Trilogy Sourcebook is basically a reprinting of each of those three individual sourcebooks with updated RPG rules. They would still be valid for our purposes.

Final question - what about Winter? Rebelion could use another spy unit :]

Was she in this campaign? It's been a while since I've read the trilogy.

Personally, I'd like to see Talon Kardde make an appearance. He was a bit more prominent than some of these characters during Thrawn's days, particularly Mon Mothma and Lando. He did alot more and appeared more than either.

Karrde works for himself though, not the Empire or the New Republic. And he definitely wasn't way more prominent than Lando.

I said a bit though...

Still, he did help the NR alot more than the Empire, so...

Anyway, he is a pretty important character in that timeline.

We could give Karrde to the CSA when they're finished although he's never worked for themm he does work for the highest bidder (before Thrawn put a bounty on him anyway) and since the CSA is the adminstators of the Corporate System I'm sure they could get enough money from their financial backers to hire him.

I still support the smuggler's alliance as a nemisis for the CSA (maybe a seperate version of the mod)

I prefer that to my idea.
Would they get cheaper smugglers and transports etc

Any chance of adding Karrdes buisness as an indepent faction? Use the CSA but rename them for Thawns Campaign?

Is the Empire going to be able to have access to Luuke at Wayland?

I don't think so. Luuke was C'baoth's project, not the Empire's.

I think if we can consider C'baoth as an agent of the Empire enough to give them to the Imperial hero team, we should give them Luuke as well. I'm sure that once C'baoth was certain enough about his power within the Empire, he would have revealed Luuke as his apprentice and begun to use him, though the main focus would probably have been to try and capture Leia.

Thrawn could also at some point discovered Luke's hand in the storehouse, and tried to clone him so he could have a second Force-user to coordinate his fleets. Especially since he could have shaped Luuke from the beginning, and not had to deal with Luuke like he did C'baoth.

Maybe. However, Thrawn wouldn't have been able to use him that fast. Also, shouldn't Mara be a Rebel hero for this GC.

Both of them are debatably Imperial, but at least Thrawn manipulated C'baoth enough to serve the interests of the Empire, and his battle meditation was an important component of his success. Really it came down to a need for more Imperial heroes in TC that I added him. Luuke, on the other hand, didn't really do much of anything.

Also, shouldn't Mara be a Rebel hero for this GC.

Probably another one of those faction-switching situations. She was still somewhat Imperial until she was able to fulfill The Last Command. Perhaps that alone would be reason enough to add Luuke: kill him and you can recruit Mara.
