How can I make a cinematic on BFME2 worldbuider.

I think that this is possible because i have the collectors edition and there it´s says that the cinematics were made in the worldbuider.

you need to use camera's and things like that :p
Not really sure on how that all works, im still figuring all that out, suggestion look at the shellmap from BFME 2 :)

In the Worldbuilder you can use the Camera Animation editor to make very smooth camerawork.
If you've ever worked with video you'll notice it's a very simple editor which works with keyframes: Each "keyframe" is a camera position and angle. So you have for example 3 keyframes, the first (At frame 0) looks to the ground, the second (say, at frame 100= around 2 seconds) looks at your Army, the third (Frame 200) looks at the sky. The result would be the camera smoothly looking from the ground, then to your troops, and then it looks at the sky.

You just save the animation and then you can call it out with a timed script.


I know, this is no tutorial and just gives a very basic idea, but nobody is going to bother making an animation on their maps anyway:P
