My video card burned out and I have been playing YR and TS with various mods using my pathetic onboard gpu. FAR from a supercomputer. This mod runs smooth with 8 brutal AIs. That's more than can be said for most mods out there.

These two files have a limit to either the number of new sounds and/or the file size. I know this because I have a 270MB audio.bag file with hundreds of 48KHz sounds in it, and I can't add any more. I don't think you guys are gonna have this problem, but I just felt I needed to let you know this. I wouldn't want you to suffer this problem.
Apollo and any other modders, please take this into account if you do not know already.
BTW, the mod that has this 270MB audio.bag file will not be released under any circumstances, the whole mod is about 908MB. It's called FutureTech's Fury. Simply made for my own entertainment purposes.
Just sharing my status as a non-professional modder as well.

Heh i figure you took sounds form ra3 then (48khz) and PCM...they take tons of space as PCM, if you'd compress with IMA using 22050 or 32000khz, would half the size more or less, in case of RS, all the audio is compressed...else it would be too insane like yours
Just a note, IMA compressing frequencys only go up to 32000khz (mono/stereo work fine), higher freqs are not played by the game except when its uncompressed PCM WAV.
In your case its likely just the filesize of bag causing issue.
