No, better guidance: it's right at the top of the smoke. Get like 3 guys to point to it, and they triangulate to the exact spot.
It's in the smoke from the chimney to the left. That's how I guide it. Alternately, you can just keep going thru the forest for ages. After about 30 minutes, you find your way through it. Don't forget to get Kjata before you move thru the forest (try getting it before you get the harp
)

earlier i couldnt, i've been fighting in the mideel area, 1k for 1 of those gren things, 4; you get 240 AP and 4k gil 8)
i need the gil for my chocobos, BTW, i have 2 great M + F, and 2 Good M + F chocobos, what nut and chocobo do i use to get river chocobo?

Chocobo Breeding
1. You need two great chocobo's (1 male, 1 female) find em on mideel
2. Feed em loads of expensive greens (from old bloke hut in snowy lands) - do this for every one.
3. Race em to A (higher rank = greater probablity)
4. Now go to bone village, fight on green grass til you fight a dragon thing (low damage but takes AGES...... to kill, so just mug him and run away)
5. Give nut to chocobo's
6. You will get green/blue
7. Repeat til you get one green, one blue of opposite sex (reload it fails first time)
8. Train green + blue to A
9. Feed him nut from dragon
10. Get black
11. Now go to snowy land and get a wonderful chocobo. Train to A
12. Go to goblin island. Near bottom right of map, steal zeo nut or something from goblins (they live in forest)
13. Breed black A and wonderful A to get....
14. Gold chocobo ^___^
ok a lot of this is a waste all u need to do is save bfore u breed if it isnt right just load agian its so easy and if u beat one of the weapons (i think green) u get a gold chocobo u just have to ask around

The method to acquire the gold chocobo is pretty much sound (though mine was slightly different it worked first-time..and I'd advise training to S instead of A rank. Feed every chocobo you're going to race 45 sylkis greens to make them unstoppable. Also hold R1, R2 and Square to regenerate their stamina). And I said earlier in the thread that you could get the chocobo through killing one of the Weapons. The point is you need a Gold Chocobo to get KOTR to kill the weapons easier.
