Alright, I'll come out with it.  I'm in a dark 80's famine.  Protomen Act 2, Perturbator, Power Glove...they're just not enough anymore.  I've been looking for some really dark synthesized tones like them.  Stuff as fantastic as Here Comes the Arm.

Judge Bitch, Dance With The Dead or Atrey perhaps, but not really pure dark stuff like Perturbator. Eric Norlander's The Dark Water from The Galactic Collective album. All of it is a great analogue synth fest, though again not really dark. Sounds like you just wanna listen to the Escape From New York soundtrack.

Everyone should definitely listen to Pallas - XXV album. Can't find much on Youtube to link but it is a great modern concept album about Atlantean's returning to Earth to judge. :p  Or Edison's Children - In The Last Waking Moments about alien abduction.
