I think it would be The Two Towers, but at second thought, it might be The Return of the King as well, and on third thought, it might as well be The Fellowship of the Ring... :crazed:

Christ, it was a hint that there weren't a Trilogy option..
I can't really say I like one of the 3 books best, because they are nothing without the other two :cool2:
The Lord of the Rings is, in my opinion, one book...

i correct myself. They aren't a trilogy. Tolkien meant for them to be one big book in three volumes.

I grew up with the LOTR trilogy... so they all get my vote! Was never a big fan of The Hobbit though... my English teacher forced me to read it when I was in school, so I guess I took a natural kinda dislike to it (it has grown on me since however!).
Reassuringly Expensive...

Blade with whom I have lived,
Blade with whom I now die,
Serve right and justice one last time,
Seek one last heart of evil,
Still one last life of pain,
Cut well old friend, and then... farewell

Your teacher force you to read a Tolkien book? You were with very luck. I don't if you know the book but my portuguese teacher forced my class to read The Lusiadas wich is boring.
