I know, Dethwaker3 if i remember correctly u asked me to do something like this, and in that LOTR.str i got the same error, but after using the lotr.str that was in the original file it worked :crazed:
So, Do you want me to send you the original LORT.str file?

I had a "funny" (read: F@#%ING FRUSTRATING! :mad2: ) error too with the lotr.str. After adding a few tooltips I also put a ';-------------' under the changes I made (to demarcate my edits from the originals). But then it kept coming up with an error citing this particular addition (ie. ;-------). So, despite the fact I thought a semi-colon rendered anything subsequent in the code line non-readable (right...? :shiftee:), naturally I removed it... but to no avail - the error kept appearing. Next I made sure I had removed it from both the mod .ini ('Wars of the East' by Lord Istari) and the original RotW-K .ini. But, again, the same error kept rearing its annoying head. The final step I took was to delete all the lotr.str files I had floating around and to re-install both the mod and the game itself. And yes, you guessed it - the error was still there!

Anyone know WTF's going on here...? :xcahik_:

Well, after re-re-installing both the mod (I unzipped it again too) and game, I finally got the error to disappear... THANK CHRIST!! :shiftee:
Still baffling why the thing lingered so long.

Anywho, it's fixed so... meh. :p

(Thanks for the '//' heads up incidentally. :wink_new: )
