Yeah, I will admit, Thorin looked good in that one. But I hated HATED HAAATED that game. With a passion. That was not the Hobbit. That was a screwed up joke. I mean, what the hell did Bilbo LOOK like? and the Goblins... prfff.Try playing the animated Hobbit video game. Yeah, low-tech ish, but I think they did a good job with some stuff, like Thorin's appearance.
But yeah, good suggestion, I'll use the Thorin from that one!
Thanks for the suggestions so far!

Careful. This link is DANGEROUS. Do NOT click it. This one, however, is fine.

I'll give you all the info on that in the next PM, It'll be with you soon as I finish typing it out, shouldn't be much longer now I'm glad it's been of a help to you... sorry for the mess up with sending it and all.Excellent. Now I can fix all of my problems... Would it work to put the .map and .tga files in the "Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Battle for Middle-earth\" place, or would that not work either?
Yes, just reskin the whole thing and claim it's a new map... more credit for me and everyone has to use up all their download time redownloading the same map... mwahahaha
Nah, dw I'm not that evil You know though Jeth, that's quite a good idea, I could easily reskin it all in time for the new film... kinda like a special edition of the map 'cause the movie's coming out and all, the whole kinda play the movie as you watch it thing. Might think about that after beta4.7 comes out.
UPDATE FOR EVERYONE:
Beta 4.5 has now been downloaded 22 times!
Beta 4.6 (BFME II version) has now been downloaded 23 times!
Beta 4.6 (BFME II multiplayer version) has now been downloaded 11 times!
Beta 4.6 (RotWK version) has now been downloaded 17 times!
Beta 4.6 (RotWK multiplayer version) has now been downloaded 18 times!
beta 4.5 was also downloaded 5 times before I first re-uploaded it, so add to the tally and that makes it 27 times.
So, that's 27+23+11+17+18 = 96 downloads. 96 DOWNLOADS!
Now, THAT I'm proud of.
And that's without the scripting... beta4.7's just gonna rock those scales! and that's plus the RotWK and multiplayer versions that'll be coming with it...
PM should be with ya soon IRS!

Hope the PM's were of use to you, btw IRS. I'm sorry that the RotWK version has so much stuff on it to read through but that expansion has so many problems that it can cause your PC it's impossible! I just thought you'd want to know them all in case you ever encounter anything yourself, to always have the reference there to look to.

and don't bother PMing it to me. Although I do know how to map (indeed, I taught my sister 90% of Worldbuilder's functions! ) I don't actually do it. My sister would be the better judge of your technique. however, if you want an impossible-to-please critic who'll compare your map to EA's, then I'm the man for the job!

Thanks, I'll PM it to Eruceninde, I suppose only one of you two needs it anyway. I forgot that putting the download on this post meant everyone could download it I was tired...
Edit: btw, the point was that I WANTED an impossible to please critic who'd compare it to EA's style of mapping, I want it to be perfect!

Signed and dusted! I'm not going to put it off though, I really do need someone with a super-critical eye so that I can get this map right. If people don't tell me what's wrong with it then it can't own everyone els... I mean, make the map the best it possibly can be!
I'll PM you the map when I get back at 11.00 tonight, Erucenindë. Hope you enjoy looking over it! (and Jeth, if he chooses to ).
Thanks
