Map'll be with you just later today Erucenindë, I'll send it over on PM
On other news: UPDATE: All new heroes and scripts have been added to the map! After a good three days of *painstaking* work I've finally managed to not only script the entire map but include all the new heroes from the Battle of Five Armies as seperate entities for use on the battlefield! Now all your heroes will display at the start of the game and have their own icons and stats! (Rather then all being normal super-poewerful Axe Throwers or whatever ).
If things continue the way they are at the moment, beta4.7 will be out exactly in time for christmas!
Remaining beta4.7 'to do' list:
Reskin the model I'm using for Bard to look more like the men of Dale!
Code in the new Dale Swordsmen and Bolg's bodyguard (now a group of large Goblin Pikemen as opposed to scaled-down Half Trolls)! - credit to TheDeadPlayer for the new skins and models!
Code in the new Dale Archers and Dale Banner Bearers! - credit to TheDeadPlayer for the new skins and models!
Reskin Beorn with Flameguard's brilliant black Bear skin! - credit to... wait I already typed that...
Rename Thrundril to the Elfking.
Change Beorn's hero icon image to a Bear's rather then that of a Dire Wolf for RotWK version and instead of a Warg Rider's for BFME II version.
Reskin Bilbo to look less like Frodo and make button images for him.
Reskin all the Dwarves of the Lonely Mountain and make seperate button images for them.

So, Erucenindë, what did you think of the new texturing? I'm hoping it was all ok, but any changes that need to be made, don't hesitate to tell me. I've scripted the old un-texture-edited version of the map so as to test the scripting, but I'll port that all over to the textured version of the map when I'm finished with it and all's looking good
Tell you what, I've been having loads of problems with the internet recently. My Laptop is always telling me I'm having things such as IP adress issues and firewall issues each time I connect, and I've fixed everything about it. Last time it happened Ithilien couldn't get any PM's from me, so I'm worried about it. Ah well, the PC's down at the library can be used for half an hour a day...
Hope all's going well with the Narnia mod, I'll pop over to the topic later and see what's up

I'll send it again for you then hopefully you'll get it this time, if not then I'll just break this piece of **** and pretend it was a passing truck while buying a new PC... I'll try and sort out the connection problems again
What is it with my PC and this account? They just don't like each other...
On better news, I'm gonna post a couple of test screenies of the scripting work I've been doing on the map for 4.7 soon so stay tuned!

Yeah, e-mailing it to you might work actually. I'll give it a go tonight and see if it works. I'd better put those piccies up in a minuite...

Edit: To Erucenindë's post below: Nope? Didn't get anything...

Yeah, I've done a bit of work on the map lately... been finishing off the scripting on Beta4.6.5 so that I can transfer it into Beta4.7, all seems to be working with the whole 14 waves of attackers thing, all except for the fact that all your units get wasted after the first five seconds but I'm gonna do something about that perhaps make all your units stronger the closer they are to the Mountain or something like that...
"GRACIOUS ME!" Bilbo screamed suddenly, "THE PROGRESS IMAGES!"
*runs away to fetch them *
Differences between Beta4.6.5 and Beta4.7:
Beta 4.7 will have 16 waves of attackers, Beorn appears at wave 12 and the Eagles at wave 16.
Beta 4.7 has better texture work then Beta4.6.5.
Beta 4.7 has the map.ini, Beta4.6.5 doesn't.
I've been working on both betas, 4.6.5 is basically the test run for the other map, 4.7, but 4.7's the one I'm releasing on the 24th December

Edit: Ok... well, while I'm searching for the images I took in-game with Fraps (which show the scripting work ) i'll just post up a couple of in-Worldbuilder shots that are kinda interesting with regards to changes to Thorin's Wall and some of the new heroes:

btw, if all you want to do is take pics, not movies, then all the BFME games have a built-in pic-taker. just press F12. It will save the pics to a folder called "My Battle for Middle Earth II pictures" inside your "My Pictures" folder.

You saviour I'll go take some piccies right away!I like the way you did Thorin's wall, looks good! Can't say about the heroes, the pic was too far out.

As to the heroes being too far out thing, the shot wasn't for anyone to look at the skins or nothing because they're all EA's vanilla skins for the characters It was simply just so people could see the layout of them at the beginning of the game, and the heroes that are involved at the start. (Not including Thorin, Fili, Kili, Oin, Gloin, Bimbur, Bombur blah blah blah)
Thorin's Wall really did need a do-up... anyway, it's the good side's fortress now and the evil side doesn't need a fortress anymore and runs perfectly on it's own so all's well
All 16 waves for the gobbos now completed!
Sgt. Angel
Edit: Oh and Ithilien, yeah that is a wooden bridge sorta thing. From the side it's kinda short but from the front it looks cool. I need to increase the zoom in value on the map so that you can zoom right into it in-game and see... the design for Thorin's Wall is now based EXACTLY on the descriptions by Tolkien, down to the rope that was used to lower Bilbo to the ground after it was descovered that he'd stolen the Arkenstone from Thorin

fyi, most games have an ingame pic taker. just look in the manual for which key, which is usually one of the F and number keys.
