The forty-second Red Alert 3 profile has been released; this week it's the Allies Multigunner IFV:

Posted Image

Few vehicles in the Allied forces have been of such vital service for so long as the Multigunner infantry fighting vehicle, known for its speed and reliability in most any combat scenario. While most details about the IFV and the Australian firm responsible for its unique weapons system are widely known, this report of life in the field with such a vehicle by distinguished wartime journalist Selby K. Stewart sheds new light into one of the cornerstones of the Allies' steadfast defense network.

You can read the full article, along with a short video of this unit in action here, at RedAlert3.com.

Realism is so overrated it isn't even funny. You already know what happens in reality, how is that entertaining...?

It also has the most annoying voice out of any unit in the game.

I remember RA2's where it was a nice cheerful American. This unit hasn't changed at all, except it looks shittier. They even quoted the RA2 one on the unit profile page. "High speed, low drag."

true, but atleast if they have accents(even crappy ones) it doesn't turn out like C&C Global Defense Initiative(*cough* more like American Defense Initiative)

every unit had an american sounding voice...

i havn't heard the new IFV's voice, so i cant really tell, but im fine with a stereotyped voice as long as it doesn't sound annoying or crappy...

(i'll bet all voice actors are probably american's putting on fake accents, which really doesn't sound the same as getting someone from the actual country to do it...)
(when ever i hear an 'Australian' on a show, its always some crap accent that sounds nothing like us at all, and they aren't even an Australian actor...)

Well so far we have:

French Mirage Tank
Australian IFV
Dominican Hydrofoil
Spanish Vindicator
British Guardian Tank
British MCV
British Spy

All of them with wonderfully overdone accents to match.

thats just so that some of the 'slower' customers can still realize what country the unit is suppose to be from...

I don't know why you wouldn't like them... They were meant to be corny! I love them all!!! Though the Apoc was kind of... Odd... But it was fitting none the less.
