Fuck Barack, I hope his head gets split by an assassin's bullet.

Just wait a month for that one.

I will, and when it happens I'll party. =D

yes, it will be wonderful to have a historical figure in our culture be shot in the head, have our country go through with our highest official in the land dead, and 2 young children without their father. Yes, absolutely fucking amazing.

That's not snappy enough, it needs to be a single word, it makes it a lot easier to be a bigot when you don't need lots of words. I think you could go with untermenschen, that's not being used for anything at the moment.

Neonazis would argue that it would refer to the Judenrat and the Soviet dogs, but certainly Kacen knows that.

On another note, Obama winning = yay. Midterms have ended, so I'll be making a few posts about the transition period (Which although promised to be smooth, will be more reminiscent of a volcanic eruption).

And out of curiosity, has anyone noticed that Kacen has gotten particularly more angry, racist, and virulent over the last few months? He's gone from being a moderate idiot to a foaming, frothing neofascist thug. It's hilarious.

Great, so now we're socialists

Black people will get their 40 acres or whatever the hell Jesse Jackson wants for now

My pay will be cut in half, my gear will suck, and I'll probably get shot in the head

The government will try to take Texas' guns away... Emphasis on try

The democrats will have no one left to blame

Should be a fun four years. I'm going to go find something tall to jump off of.

Obama is not a socialist, or far-left, or left at all. He's more centre than what you're used to. Furthermore, it would be difficult to get socialist policies through anyway, even with the Democrats in charge of the house, as most Democrats are more right than he is.

Why the hell are black people going to be given rewards? Just because you have a black president doesn't mean he's suddenly going to favour black people to such as extent.

You pay check is not going to be cut in half. Obama is not redistributing the wealth, he is merely giving tax breaks to the poor as opposed to the rich, which is only fair in my view (and I also believe people earn their wages, so this is fine as long as it doesn't change things drastically). We're not talking staggering changes in income, we're not going to see equal wealth (a proper socialist goal). America is the so-called Land of Opportunity, yet how are the poor meant to take up opportunities if they can't afford to whilst the class-gap widens as the rich get richer?

The Government are never going to try to take guns away unfortunately.

After a short time of thinking on this, I find it funny Europeans, regardless East or West, believe that Americans are near sided, when in fact most americans have some sort of ancestor from Europe, so that brings it down to Europe's narrow-sightedness, doesn't it? I guess we have someone other to thank, don't we? :p

I'm frankly amazed none of us Europeans have commented on this gem yet. So, to fill in the gap: shut up, you moron. If you really wanted to make a point it should have been that America would not even have been founded were it not for European intolerance of the Puritans and the other religious wackjobs, so if everything goes tits up it can be traced back to Britain. Or, more importantly, Europe has nothing to do with a bunch of rednecks who can't tolerate someone of a different race.

If Obama is more centered, and the Democrats are more right than he is, then the Republicans have somehow managed to magically retake both the senate and the house. Lest we forget Madame Pelosi...

That's because your ideas of socialism are most likely full blown communism. The American economy hasn't been far right since it's founding. The two sides are no control and total control, right now we're a lot closer to total control than no control.

Why the hell are black people going to be given rewards? Just because you have a black president doesn't mean he's suddenly going to favour black people to such as extent.

It's not a reward, it's 'reparations, read your history books.

You pay check is not going to be cut in half. I'm a marine, my paycheck will be cut (it's in the works), my gear will suck, I'll have trouble getting a pencil let alone PPE and optics.

The Government are never going to try to take guns away unfortunately.

Ah yes, what a wonderful world where only outlaws have guns. His plan is to ban pistols and assault rifles, and to allow us to have a shotgun and a rifle... which can't be kept in your home. I hope someone breaks into your house.

Fuck Barack, I hope his head gets split by an assassin's bullet.

I don't even know what to say to this sort of thing. You're worse than the people who support this man. First off it wouldn't solve anything, second off in the long run it does more harm than good. It's best that the American people see what is to come, and figure out it doesn't work.

Actually, it's your idea of socialism that's skewed and uneducated... OBAMA IS CETNRE-RIGHT, NOT FAR LEFT. Oh right, in AMERICA he probably qualifies as a leftie but frankly that's because America's political spectrum is fucked up and completely different from the rest of the world. In Europe, Obama is very much rightwing, but I suppose that's because Europeans are just a bunch of communist hippies, or what?

Pretty much.

It amuses that Hostile has done nought but try to discredit Obama with every little straw he can grasp at, accusing him of everything from racism (I still can't get past that. In fact, it's gotta be the stupidest thing I've ever heard) and corruption to communism and taking back-handers (which are all perfectly legitimate by the looks of things - he doesn't HAVE to declare any donations under $200, so he didn't. Big whoop, want to fight about it?), that Kacen really believes a word he says about slaughtering every "rag-head" and "sand-nigger" in the entire Arab world (and by Christ I'd LOVE to hear his justification for any of that), and that you all really seem to think Obama is sitting at the table with Karl Marx.

More to the point, I don't really understand how anyone could disagree with lower taxes on the poor and higher ones on the rich, unless, of course, you're a really rich person who's likely to dip out as a result.

Silent_Killa: You can hardly blame Obama for your wages getting cut, considering it wasn't him who put them into force. I too find it quite ironic that Dubya would ask so much of you then not give you the money to do it with, however it's nothing new. The British MoD have made so many budget cuts in the last twenty years that I'm gobsmacked that we even have a military at all. Ask my parents. My dad got made redundant. Redundant from the army! It was unthinkable at the time! At one point it was a job for life. Now it's barely even paid well enough to be called a job.

I would ask all of you what grounds you realistically have (complete with sources, please) to believe that Barack Obama will do a significantly worse job than John McCain.

It's just rediculous to hear people saying Obama is a goddamn marxist. Also, I find it hilarious to read people accusing him of marxism as if it's a bad thing, while also calling him a communist. Guess what, Marxism doesn't equal communism, and communism doesn't equal socialism. Maybe you should pull your heads out of your asses and stop being such ignorant morons, afraid of everything NOT conservative or gun-toting. Jesus Christ.

I agree with this one,Matias.

As for the fact that we can all become muslims,well,honestly...think twice.

Other than that,Obama looks more...civilised.All politicians are jerks,at least he can steal the more nicer, cleaner way.At least this, for Christ's sake,we can vote him.

The crysis is just an lie,it was expectable,George Bush managed just to move it later,so he can stay more time in that seat.People consider him an idiot, but with this thing,he managed to fool a lot of people.

Global warming, another lie, lies, lies, lies, that's what politics are,and its pretty pointless the fact that we discuss it so much, just time spent on looking out how much they steal us.

Sounds like it's time to teach some foreign nationals how the US tax and political system works. First let's start with US descriptions for how it defines it's own political spectrum.

1) Measure stuff based on the location of where it is being measured. If we are talking US politics, than use the US political spectrum to measure it. I'm not going to measure Brazilian GNP based in euros if I'm talking to a Brazilian.

This is a US election, it needs to be measured in US political spectrum. This means Obama is far left, McCain is center, and Bush is still an idiot. If in Europe all these people are right of center, than it makes it somewhat hard for people to understand.

US is not a socialist state, nor is it founded on Marxism or Leninism (obviously they didn't exist at the time)

2) Let us understand that in the US there is a MAJOR difference between tax breaks and tax credits. Pause and think for a second and clear your mind. Tax breaks and tax credits ARE NOT tax reductions. Try to grasp this...

Taxes in the US are taken out of everybody's paycheck. (Unless you're Obama paying your people with prepaid Visa cards with no taxes taken out.)

At the end of the year you file your taxes and can write off things called tax breaks. This results in over 30% of the US population getting ALL of their money back as a tax refund. Nothing wrong with that.

Tax credits, which is what Obama is planning, is completely different. Tax credits result in not simply deductions from tax burden but absolute CREDIT back to the individual.

Still with me?

This means that one can actually have more tax credits than taxes paid into the system. This results in people receiving tax refunds in excess of what they paid in taxes. To sum it up... subsidized welfare. People will be paid to be poor.

Nothing wrong with helping the poor, but paying them to be poor is why a lot of Americans are asking WTF?!

But not enough Americans are because it's so complicated that not enough understand how it works. Now try to imagine people who don't even live in the US trying to understand it. This is why you have some above posters saying there is nothing wrong with taxing the poor less and taxing the rich more.

Unfortunately that's not the case. You have to understand the sleight of hand of politicians and political correct terms.

@Ash
I can't remember the last time you even replied to any of my posts with any logical form of rebuttal, basically it's just drunken anger. You are completely irrelevant in the discussion other than entertaining your teammates with "fuck all, and tits up" expressions.

@Kacen
Be careful what you hope for when talking about Presidential assassinations. First it's childish and dumb, second there would be alot of angry black people here that would be very mad for not getting a chance to enjoy their candidates Presidency. I don't want to see the likes of France when the Muslims were protesting.

@Vortigern

Europe has nothing to do with a bunch of rednecks who can't tolerate someone of a different race.

So Americans are all Rednecks? Why don't you tell us how you really feel? You remember those rednecks? The sames ones that rescued western europe from the nazies, shielded you from the Soviet Union and financed the rebuilding of your continent through the Marshall Plan?

Ohhh, you mean those silly rednecks. Glad you cleared that up.

@ m@tt

Obama is not redistributing the wealth, he is merely giving tax breaks to the poor as opposed to the rich, which is only fair in my view (and I also believe people earn their wages, so this is fine as long as it doesn't change things drastically).

Please read number 2 above to understand why your statement needs revision.

Watching this comparison about Obama and Kennedy and stuff made me roll my eyes. The US media absolutely adores Obama. It is, what it is...

Wow, question is. If a US citizen gives birth over seas, is the child a US citizen? I tried to call my brother because he was in the same circumstance. My father is a US citizen but my brother was born in Germany to my (obvious) German mother.

So basically you've reinforced Matias' point that America desires to be special, by using their own political spectrum instead of using the normal one. Kudos.
