The campaign we are working on at the moment is for good only, we felt we should do that one first as the books are from the good forces pov. In the future there may be an evil one, but the good campaign is in itself a huge undertaking, so we'll have to wait and see on that one.

Three quick questions:
1. When you write "Campaign" does it mean a Campaign like in original unmodded game or the "War of the Ring" scenario (conquer all the Middle Earth etc.)?
2. Is the War of the Ring scenario working for BOTH sides (the good guys and the evil villains)?
3. Is the mod free of "save-fame-bug" preventing other mods from use of campaign/WotR mode?

In fact I'd like to play that mod as an Evil side and I wish I would be able to save my game and the load it to continue my conquest of all ME under the power of The One Ring...

1: There's both a linear (BfME 2 style) campaign and a non-linear (BfME 1 style) campaign. The non-linear wil be accessible through the War of the Ring scenarios.

2: It is still WiP. Some of the new factions do not work fully yet.

3: Not sure about this one.

3: Not sure about this one.

Well, does it mean that there may be some bugs with saved games or the problme has not been solved so far or the situation with saved games has not been fully playtested so far and there's still insufficient data about that problem?

For me it's a crucial question, as in case the "save game bug" exists it's almost no sense to play long campaign except when you have some week or two for continuous play...

Another very nice mod "Wars of the East" still has an unsolved problem with that bug and this prevents me from play...

if youre talking about being unable to successfully load a saved game, i dont think we have had any problems with either the campaign, skirmish, or regular wotr not loading up.
hope that was what you were asking

Hmm...come to think of it, the only issues we'd have to deal with in regards to saved games atm the moment is WotR and Skirmish. I don't think there's been a problem with the bug of late, but I haven't played many a game where I saved.

Nice to hear that! ;)

Sounds terrible to me... does the phrase "we'd have" mean "we had have to" or "we would have to"? The first option is GOOD, while the second option is VEEEERY BAAAD...

So, in case I download and install RJ-RotWK ansd start a WotR campaign there should be no problems with playing, then savuing mid-game and then loading saved game to play on?
Of course I mean "WotR campaign" as the one where you can freely choose your faction etc., not the "regular" campaign (as I've read here, there's only "Good Guys" campaign made for RJ-RotWK").

Is my above question/supposition correct?

I've never had a problem with it, though I did with the SEE mod. Me and dalf or kobrakai have played some wotr games where we saved and came back the next day. So, idk...maybe somethings just screwy with yours ;) When did you try saving it, in game or in the LWM?

Well, like I said, I mainly play skirmish, so, doesn't affect me much.

...not the "regular" campaign (as I've read here, there's only "Good Guys" campaign made for RJ-RotWK")...

The "regular" campaign is technically available for both good and evil. You just have to unlock the Evil campaign by completing the Good campaign first.

Hello, Merry Christmas and thanks for all the above answers!
Just one more question:

I'm DL-ing the RJ-RotWK 1.05.06 from the following address:
http://lordofthering...;85148#Download

Is that the latest version of the mod? ( I mean "playable", not just the "evaluation/beta" for beta-testers only) And has it been updated to remove the bugs that might have been revealed between its release date and current date? Or the bugfixes are posted somewhere else?

Thanks for answers!

Unfortunately, it hasn't been updated since its original release. It shouldn't be a big deal though, since there weren't many big bugs at all, just a few missing tooltips and powers and stuff like that. We are aiming for a release of 1.06 in mid January, so you can look forward to that while you play this version.

Wich part of the WoTR is the Campaign about?War of the south or north?

And is it 100% done with Helm's Deep,Minas Thirith,Oshgillath if they're included?

WotR is about the War of the Ring, both South and North. I believe said maps are included.

In the latest public release, neither Minas Tirith nor Osgiliath are scripted in the campaign, which is what I think the question was about.

I don't know if they are scripted, but I think they are in the campaign it self.

The campaign in WotR is excellent so far and I'm sure that I, along with many others are awaiting its full completion. Keep going!
