It doesn't work unless u want every faction to have no faction colors.... I guess I can't help....Guess we will have to wait unitil someone comes.... I will still look into it

It doesn't work unless u want every faction to have no faction colors.... I guess I can't help....Guess we will have to wait unitil someone comes.... I will still look into it

no,i have this in gamedata.ini
EnableHouseColor = No

so all units have their original colors,but the buildings just appear like that

so now u only want the banner to change and not units?



yeap the units are perfectly fine i just want to change the color of that banner of the buildings,the tree of gondor is to remaine white but the remaning of the flag i want it to be blue

I don't know if u need to texture it I might be wrong I am not good at coding... (well...I am okay lol :wink_new: )



i will give another example of what i want
This is for Bfme1 but it will do
gondor and rohan do you see the diference??why the gondor farm don´t have the blue flag and the fortress flag can?and why can rohan have the green original banner on both and gondor can´t??
i have the EnableHouseColor = No

wow. I wonder how to fix that



and i in bfme1 did´n change anything the only thing was the
EnableHouseColor = No in gamedata.ini but maybe someone knows how to fix this

What happens if u EnableHouseColor= Yes?

when playing in skirmish mod and select for example blue for you race color all units and buildings get a part of them blue,and this remove all of that living the units just like the campaign

Well the thing is, the texture for that flag i think is like that, black and white. There are a lot of banners for Gondor, each for different things, you might need to replace the farm one with the one you want.

i´ve found this in texture 2

if i skin the third one should the banner apear as i want??

OK, house color is not what you think it is. House color is given to your faction's units, buildings and heroes as part of their color. If you switch it to "No" then you are just removing that. To change the flag then i believe you will need to open the farm model on RenX and then add the texture (Second picture) to the flag, also you will need to add the rest of the textures to the farm. The third picture is the house color effect for the flag so don't use that one. I don't really know what the first one is for. There might be another way to change the texture without using RenX but i don't know it.

It's not that difficult to edit something but the problem i have is binding and exporting so i am not the best person to tell you. Try it if you have RenX installed otherwise we might be able to change the texture via the code. I need you to find the texture name used for the flag of the farm and the texture you want to take it's placed and i might be able to do it.

my friend check the image of the rohan farm here because the rohan farm uses the same model of the gondor farm so it is not from the texture it is about code i think

You want the flag to remain blue?
Its done in a few seconds :blink:
Draw = W3DScriptedModelDraw ModuleTag_Draw_HCBanner
	OkToChangeModelColor  = Yes
	DefaultModelConditionState
		Model = GBHCBarracks
	End
	MultiPlayerOnly = Yes 
  End

Change:
OkToChangeModelColor  = Yes
to:
OkToChangeModelColor  = No
