Yes... was talking to Vithar on MSN and the subject of Elven harbours got brought up. So this is all his fault ;)

I really like how this map is turning out. Right now it's just a generic Elven haven by the sea, though it could work for Elgarest (Cirdan's haven early in the First Age (which is what I originally designed it as, hence the seawall) or even Alqualonde, the primary haven of the Teleri in Valinor. Anyway... in the beginning I didn't plan it out as an actual "playable" map, but now I've decided to make it a two-player...if I can fix the many bugs concerning units going where they shouldn't on it.

Pics!

-as you can see, still very much a work in progress. But I'm very proud of it, hehe. Especially my custom Elven buildings :p

If you were wondering, object count is two-hundred thirty-seven, with only thirteen trees. And the map is 450 by 350.

Comments? Criticism? I'm open to all (except yoda's ;)).

Looks nice!
The race of Men is failing, the blood of Númenor is all but spent – its pride and dignity forgotten… It is because of Men the Ring survives.

Yargh...the river :p it needs a lot of work. I actually wasn't going to put it in...and may remove it as it's giving me problems.

Thanks for the feedback everyone :crazed:

I'm not sure it would work very well for a skirmish map, but looks suitable for some rpg-style storyline going on the city streets.
I like the buildings disposition (though you should fill up the rest of the city as well) and of course work on the texturing.
Good luck with the project!
