I have DownloadThemAll for Firefox, but it can fail to resume the download sometimes.

Alright, but eventually will there be some decent dramatic splitting of hulls and such for some of the larger ships? Like in a future release?

Not unless someone in the community is willing to step up; no, I don't plan on doing death clones. We have no dedicated modeler, and while I could do it myself, it would take a disproportionate amount of my time from other jobs. On the plus side, tactical runs faster without them.

What about capitals and dreadnoughts? Do they get "fake" death clones? Like enlarged ISD death clone for Praetor? I don't mind diffrent models, but I admit it would be cool to see something after successfully defeating such a behemoth :umad:

About release date - is it the moment when you'll upload mod somewhere (so it will take few days later to dowload), or will you provide us with download link then? :thumbsupsmiley:

Depends on how cooperative the file sites are.

Well I solved my interwebs problem, so you'd better have it available when you say it will be!!!

And how 'heavy' is it gonna be? I hope I'll try it as soon as I return from work, which is 2h after release date... :]

135 MB compressed when I checked a few weeks ago. Shouldn't be significantly more.

Gee. Such a big mod packed into such a small shell.

Frosty Freaky Foreign Forum Fox

<DevXen> Today I was at the store and saw a Darth Vader action figure that said "Choking Hazard." It was great.

Compress it with 7zip.

http://www.7-zip.org/

It has the best compression, plus a 7zip file can be opened with winrar.

Compress it with 7zip.

I'm going for compatibility here.

140 MB standalone, just checked today.

7zip is pretty common; Windows comes with it. Also, it can use the .zip format as well.

It doesn't, but a lot of people nowadays have winRAR, which can open 7zip.

I'll let you respond to the hundreds of posts about how to open a 7zip file then. But seriously, it's going to be ZIP.
