Thx for keeping us informed, guys :p And don't worry about Thrawn Campaigns - I'll probably start modding them soon ;)

"Just once, I'd like to destroy a starship that we didn't pay for!"
"Welcome to the jolly old death star."
"Vader gets the plesure of killing someone while we get to stay among the living. Private Perkins overhere has been stranged over 30 times haven't you Perkins." "Good man."

You just wasted my Christmas.

Frosty Freaky Foreign Forum Fox

<DevXen> Today I was at the store and saw a Darth Vader action figure that said "Choking Hazard." It was great.

Good for you. I made litle calcutation and find out that release time mean for me 2000. Sometimes it is good to live in Europe GTM +1 ;)

Ummm...Wouldn't it be 6am for you then...? Because midnight in the GMT-5 time zone means it would be 5am in Greenwich, and then you add the one.

Unless you're making a joke. I can't tell...

Me being GMT-6, I only have to wait until 11pm my time.

Yes you are right. I should have write that I made miscalculation.

But 0600 is even better leaving me with whole day to play after nice sleep.

Will the Mon Calamari cruisers and the Bulwark have more bones in v1.1?

The MC ships, yes, the Bulwark, maybe... I haven't done it yet.

I just hope my systams specs can handle the three sub-campains.

They're actually quite playable.

What timezone does Phoenix Rising live in?

Eastern United States, which is GMT-5. So when it hits Saturday, the release will be out, well, pending the file sites approval. I'll be sure to at least e-mail someone at FF to remind them to be ready for it.

You just wasted my Christmas.

Heh, you can send us your unwanted presents if you like...

I'm just wondering this one thing...are the ship explosions, you know, decently sized now? Because it is very irritating and unsatisfying seeing a giant fucking bulwark or other large ship explode with such a tiny explosion...that's one of my biggest peeves.

Lucky me. California = GMT -8 = 9 P.M.

And my family is fairly Scrooge-y when it comes to Christmas, so PR is definitely better than Christmas for me.

Hey Kacen - Don't apprecate the language extra. Keep it clean please.

Sorry it just comes naturally to me. But can I have an answer to that question please? >_>

I'm with Ghost - my mom reads these boards (no joke).

As for the explosions, that's something I plan on doing before the release, but haven't done yet (we're still working full tilt). Don't expect anything other than scaled versions of the vanilla ones though.

Alright, but eventually will there be some decent dramatic splitting of hulls and such for some of the larger ships? Like in a future release?

Not unless someone in the community is willing to step up; no, I don't plan on doing death clones. We have no dedicated modeler, and while I could do it myself, it would take a disproportionate amount of my time from other jobs. On the plus side, tactical runs faster without them.

I'm afraid that I may not be able to download and enjoy this when it's released. My internet connection has been erratic lately, and I don't know when I'll be able to solve my problem. I'm a sad panda :(

If the file site allows it, use a download utility so don't have to start the download over if it's interrupted.
