Sorry guys, I know there's a serious element of hypocrisy in there, but I also know that I have a significant amount of work to do at the moment. I've got a dissertation to plan, research and write plus two other modules that also both have work for me to do, and on top of that I've got to get all my planning done and applications in for what I'm going to do next year after I graduate. The real world is beckoning, and it's hella ominous.

Edit: There, I am now the last poster in all three storyline topics. Activity always takes a hit at this time of year, but let's try to push on where and when we can, eh?

Short version: debate has monopolized my life and I may or may not post this weekend.

Long version: Super sorry about my inactivity. I'm currently attending school about three of every five days due to debate tournaments and other trips. So my free time is pretty much absorbed by school catch-up and debate prep. Also, I've just returned from my last tournament on a resolution, so I have to do major research on a new resolution before my next tournament, which happens to be rather high-stakes (it's our qualifying tournament to Nationals; we send two debaters to the national tournament and I'm one of the major contenders).

I haven't had tome to write my entry for the school's creative writing contest, much less anything recreational.

Yes, you did. Are we no longer killing Ouranos? I'm not totally certain where you want this to go.

Now we're helping Ouranos to defend Spathis and pretending that we didn't want to kill him in the first place. Except Byron, who wants to kill him anyway and take his chances. Or, if Ouranos is still fleeing, Rindar and Byron at the least will choose to defend Spathis themselves. Noble idiots.

I really can't for a week or so now, my dissertation deadline is on the 23rd and I'm going to be working non-stop on that until then. And then, lucky old me, I have another essay due in on the 25th, then another on the 2nd June. So honestly, I don't know if I'll be able to post anything at all in the next two/three weeks, but after that I should be in the clear.

Okay guys, I'm ready to get the ball rolling again. As I perhaps should have done the last time this happened, I've jumped ahead a little way and merged our two main quests. Murder and Misadventure and Heading East are now closed, with their characters soon to discover one another in the ruins of Bylazora, a city of ghosts and forgotten monstrosities, a city that somehow destroyed itself more or less overnight, so we can but imagine what horrors lurk in the shadows as we explore its hidden depths.

Let's get this show off the road for once!

Edit: I've also just posted up the next part of Chapter 4. I'll try to get some kind of schedule to updating that.

So. The inactivity's been because of my inattentiveness and my school workload. But my term paper in one of my writing classes and my senior project and pretty much all my other junk is now finished. Expect some posts from me this weekend.

I shall endeavour to read them through the haze of my forthcoming massive end-of-university bender. Now let's all follow Rafv's example and agree to have made at least one storyline post by the end of the weekend. (Hope springs eternal.)
