Vithar hasn't gotten the chance to swing his sword around, as more often than not, he's catching up to the party, and by the time he gets there, he's only able to help clean up. The one time he did get the chance to use his sword around the party was when they were fighting the dark paladins right before Vayu.

But yeah, I think I will give him more reason to swing Nyrsavai, although, I might have an idea as to how I can blend his mental power with his bladeskill...

Alright, I concede on the point of gnomes' technological prowess, SWG (although I can't really argue when it's put in print :wink_new:). That's odd, because I usually remember what I read; and the only thing I recalled in Vort's thing on gnomes was their antisocial tendencies. Still, I don't think I can justify getting Shava a crossbow or something, nor do I want to: when we split up, she'll go back to the Maughold to meet up with the gnomes there. They have no need for physical weapons, as their empathetic strength is much greater than other gnomes'.

Anyway, there are only so many ways you can put a bolt through someone's head. But I've still got loads of ideas for killing people in interesting fashions with emotional control ;) Just haven't gotten around to using them yet.

I never imagined gnomes with gun powder, that i dont like, but i always visualised complicated weapon gadgetry, like small crossbows (that maybe can pull back their own strings or something? just to make them seem more advanced), and maybe small smoke bombs(that i only imagined right then, but it could sorta work). and other stuff like maybe folding knives, and miniature... i guess they would be called hand held catapult things.

As well as other things like maybe a gnome parachute and stilt-shoes to make them stand taller, and i always imagine them wearing little goggles like the old airplane pilots did :wink_new:
All those sorta of strange little nick nacks

Maybe sometime we should meet a gnome inventor who is constructed all sorts of weird and wonderful gadgets. :p

By the way, SWG, I've noticed this in a couple of your posts I've read in the last few minutes: the word is 'definitely', not 'defiantly'. They mean two different things.

Crap, opps, sorry, yeah i know they have two different means, i guess i shouldn't trust the spelling checker so blindly ;)
It definitely wont happen again! (i hope).
---------------

I still think shava could benefit from a weapon.
and yeah, you should do more fighting as Vithar

And wow, i forgot that the Furya weren't human in appearance. Though sometimes i imagine them like the little things running around in this picture:

I imagine that would be a reasonably accurate picture if the creatures in it actually had heads.
Of course I don't look busy; I did it right the first time.
Ever stop to think and forget to start again?

FZM and Vort don't do tag wrestling...but if they did, they'd probably be the worst tag-wrestlers in the world.

That kinda pic would definitely make me think that it wasn't a good idea to be part furya. Although, being part elven I'm sure would help the character's looks.

Yeah, I always envisioned Vithar as being a skinny elf (as Furya are skeletal in appearance), taller than most, with little talons and wing stubs. Possibly he got short-changed on the wing stubs, but I'm not sure whether Ash realises his character doesn't look entirely human either, so it would make sense that neither have you have mentioned that you can glide short distances. :p

@ SWG and Ravnin: Here's what it now says about gnomes, after my skilful and unnoticeable editing:

Gnomes: The shortest race of Arsencia, and also recognised as the ugliest. Gnomes live inside hollowed out hills, pretending to be dwarves. Though their weapons are far inferior to those of the Dwarves, they are a great deal more innovative, so much so that they have engineered clockwork crossbows and spring-loaded cannon, among other minor mechanical devices.
Gnomes tend to be clumsy, angry creatures, resentful at being born to a pathetic, ugly race, and they try to take this out on the rest of the world, which is difficult at 3 feet tall. It almost seems that their technological advancements are simply to allow them revenge on the world for not being hideous tiny monsters.

I hope I am a good enough writer that some day dwarves kill me and drink my blood for wisdom.

Rough idea of how long we are splitting up for would be good, btw Thaos is likely to be free for people to hook up with him in towns, he will be having fun and causing a little bit of chaos.

Nice description there :p I suggested about five months in-character. So I guess you can stretch/thin that as much as you want?

I'm thinking probably only a week or so, it really depends on Mike's timeline as this was his grand idea. Five months in-story would probably be about right, and give us all a chance to get older and train and sort stuff out and whatnot. Sorted. :p

Since the end of the week is coming round how are you expecting us to all meet up again? I don't expect to do any more on Thaos after today's post.

We have to wait on Mike for that. He suddenly got swamped by real-life concerns so was unable to put his plan into action just yet. But he assures me he'll get on it ASAP. It's his brainchild, this little excursion, so Mike it is who shall wrap this one up again.

Thanks you guys :thumbsupsmiley:
But it does take me some time to get the words to say what I want to say, if you get what I mean...

In other news, I'm almost finished with the testweek, and the project I'll need to finish is nearly finished. But, there is bad news. I'm having a school thing next week, and two Frenchmen will be coming over and need to stay in my house... So that's even less activity from me at that time, but I'll promise I'll make it up to you.
