I got a bunch of empty boxes, because I've already got most of my gifts Among them:
A new Vandoren B45. clarinet mouthpiece, a new Golite pack, new workboots, two Ian Fleming novels, a fancy new duffle bag, an ice pick, a crampon case (crampons forthcoming), a climbing helmet, and some climbing gear. That and socks, shirts, and all the mundane garbage.

1. the violin wasn't bought brand new, it was my Grandma's, who graciously gave it to me, so there.
2. the stereo, i can garuntee you, aint the top of the line either.
3. I'm sorry you have to talk crap about everyone else's Christmas.
seriously, this is Christmas. Some of us get nice stuff, others don't. I don't get nice stuff. Can't afford it. But I'm grateful.
