File: Unofficial Phoenix Rising v1.1 Bug Fixes
-Unzip into your main Phoenix Rising directory ( ...\Mods\Phoenix_Rising_v1.1\ )
-Due to confusion, the bug fixes are now based off of Ghostrider's Land Patch. I would recommend it otherwise, but now the game will probably break in 20 different ways without it. So install the Land Patch first, then the bug fixes.
-The bug fixes also include my Space Colony Scripting files

While I had previously listed out each painstaking edit, the recent swath of edits has overwhelmed me, and I forget lots of things, and so on. From now on, I won't list out the manual edits. Sorry if you used those, but it gets to be too much for me to keep track of two different projects editing the same files and being integrated, etc.

List of bug fixes: (Not exhaustive)
-Garm Bel Iblis with Peregrine not appearing for Rebellion in Space Skirmish
-Wedge Antilles squadron infinite invulnerability
-Hotfix for cloneable heroes
-Republic-class Star Destroyer research bug
-Jan Dodonna bugs
-"Imperial Obi-wan"
-Lando Calrissian Millennium Falcon bonuses
-Missing Maximillian Veers in AT-AT Text ID
-Tector IV-class Star Destroyer spinal firing pattern
-Rebel Golan I credit cost
-Hyperspace speed factor
-Hero proton beam bugs
-Melee combat exceptions
-Magic Space Defense scripts
-Firmus Piett's Accuser fighter complement
-Possible AI aggression improvements
-Land Structure exceptions (Included in Land Patch)
-Unfocused Thrawn Campaign AI
-Missing/incorrect projectiles
-Missing hardpoints
-Invalid Pirate force references
-Invalid Armor/Damage references
-Invalid Trade Routes

Could you consider uploading the file on the external site? We all know how capricious is Revoras' registration process, and guests cannot download files from here.

Also, could somebody sticky this (and bug reports thread, too)?

Thanks to Tropical Bob for fixing the Republic-class Research issue:

someone can try commenting out lines 6282 to 6309 in Tech_Tree_Rebel.xml and post the results of the change, pertaining to the Republic-class research.

<DevXen> Today I was at the store and saw a Darth Vader action figure that said "Choking Hazard." It was great.

Bob, could you eventually zip all the files as well? I'm having problem with downloading xmls :/

As mentioned in bugs thread, here's the fix for Dodonna. It gives bonus to all versions of Republic SD, not only first one

Gilad Pellaeon and Wilhuff Tarkin are rebuildable once they reach their final transport upgrade

Something's amiss with the scripting logic - that's all I can figure.

Republic-class Research doesn't work and builds a dummy unit

Got it! Thanks... that was leftover code from the old tech tree. Please delete those lines - they're garbage.

Jan Dodonna gives combat bonus to first-tier Republic-class only

Wow, that's from the mini-mod . I'll get to heroes more thoroughly for the next release, but for now, it's fixed.

Lando Calrissian grants a bonus to the Millennium Falcon

Okay, that's not totally unreasonable, but, yeah, Lando doesn't get the Falcon, so it shouldn't be there. Side note: we really need a Lando model.

Maximilian Veers is missing name text in his AT-AT

Also, I didn't convert his AT-AT, so it probably has some weird stats. Sorry for that.

Oh God no. If we do a Lando model, we need Lando quotes. And Lando is more self-serving, arrogant, and conceited than Han Solo.

And now that I think about it, we need a Lando model with mandatory lines, if only for some comedic relief.

A word of warning: the tractor beam fix I made actually gives an exception on game load, so I'm taking that off the list until I can fix my fix.

EDIT: Nevermind. It's the Sovereign-class XML file that was causing the exception. Every other Dreadnaught is fixed, however.

My bad! I messed up changing the Tector-class fire bones. Fixed that now, as well as adding in the fix for the double-booking of Chazwa.

Glad you're keeping this up to date :). We fixed the Chazwa bit on the download now though, so it should only be a problem for the earlier copies.

As much as I am able to. Sometimes the coding gives me problems. Like with the tractoring of all the new stations. At first, the Sovereign-class file rejected my alterations, but after a copy-paste mistake (Or something of that nature), now none of the Dreadnaught files are accepting my alterations. And now Notepad++ is doing weird things that are annoying me to no end and impede any sort of coding.

Just wanted to post a quick update:

If at any point you get an exception upon game load (I believe it's at the PR logo screen), revert the Star Dreadnaught file changes to the original. The game sometimes accepts the new tractor beam exclusions, but more often than not, doesn't.

Updated with a melee combat fix from here.

Thanks to Ghostrider for finding such an incognito bug, PR for posting the fix, and maul52 for testing.

Updated the ZIP file with the now (Hopefully) turned off "Generate Magic Space Defense" scripts. It should (Again, hopefully) prevent magic AI Dreadnaught spamming.

Which file would this be?

If you've downloaded the bug fixes any time recently, those changes won't be included.

Also, a couple updates are included in the original post:
-Firmus Piett's Accuser now has the appropriate final tier fighter/bomber complements.
-Yag'Dhul's problematic apostrophe was removed from the Thrawn Campaign Galactic Markup hints, thereby (Hopefully...) un-paralyzing the AI.
-I had previously forgotten to change Wilhuff Tarkin's lifetime build limit to 1, to avoid the silly cloning issue. Now included.

Updated:
-Jan Dodonna will now successfully be a starting hero on Talay for the Rebellion in the Outer Rim Campaign.
-Included the Structure Fix for those who download this and not Ghostrider's Land Patch.
-Files are now hosted on Filefront! Yay!

I had a suspicion about that, but testers haven't reported anything :p... I'll cut it just to be sure.
