Hi!

I'm just curious to test out S.E.E without the slow pruduction?
Wich files would I be using and what programs?

I suppose Finalbig,I have that one...:thumbsupsmiley:

Well, that's all you need.

Then you have to edit the file 'data\ini\default\water.ini' and the files in the directory 'data\ini\default\balance_SEE\'. Look for the term BUILDTIME. Almost every unit and structure has one of those entries. Which ones control which unit is often apparent, like this (for a goblin warrior horde):
#define M_GOBLIN_FIGHTER_BUILDTIME	 60 // in seconds
To adjust the buildtimes, you'd have to change ALL of those by hand.
If you are somewhat proficient in modding (which i guess you aren't), you could also make every map spawn an object with an aura effect (large enough to encompass the whole map) which would provide every structure an AttributeModifier (SPEED 200% for example) to get over that.

wouldn't it be better to add a object with the same thing spawn with the fortress, as a LUA thing? :thumbsupsmiley:

Sure. Doesn't even need to be lua. Might spawn with an upgrade which is gotten at the start with the same mechanics that makes trolls/giants/ents pick up stones when they are created. We'd need a mostly unused attribute modifier for this to work, so it doesn't interfere with any other non-cumulative aura from whatever. If i am bored enough, i'll figure something out and post the code (and where to put it). Only thing is, SPEED increases speed that upgrades (of that building) are produced, as well as resource aquisition. That's a no-go for the MotW-farms, because they are the place to buy peasants. On the other hand, they are produced pretty quickly already.
