:cracks neck:Yeah, but who uses an Xbox anyway?
want to start something?
No AI for multiplayer, but if you can get a full 16 player game going on, the game is very very fun.

Just to fill up all the empty space, if nothing else.

Conquest tries to remind you that it's from the same people who made Star Wars: Battlefront, which is nothing to be proud of. I understand that they sold well, but let us be honest with one another: these games were pierced tins of rotting meat, swollen with the byproducts of their putrefaction.
I really don't do requests and my Arnor Soldier is not fit for BFME. Don't ask me for either.

Of course, they reduced your ability to do this in Battlefront 2 (at least on PS2, which is all I've played it on), which pissed me off a tad.

Conquest seems to be going for the same deal, except that it destroys lore more than battlefront ever did. You'd expect that to be the most deterring factor in a community like this anyway, since most people here are hard or at least semi hardcore tolkien fans. So, I'm guessing it'll be a average or little below average game that appeals to a lot of people who have seen the lord of the ring movies and are interested.
Doesn't mean it's a bad or good game, but just a game styled for certain people. I probably still won't be getting it though

Battlefront 1 was not a bad game. Granted, it was a pathetic shooter compared to its peers, but the ability to give commands to your troops in battle was kind of nifty. It was nice to be a captain, instead of being a soldier in your typical FPS or God in your typical RTS.
Because no games have ever done that before. Brother's in Arms did it for starters, and is a pretty influential game that has had it's formula copied a few times.

Nothing a bit of good modding won't fix. Of course, that's if it's moddable at all.
