Hahaha you'll have to record some, or at least take a video of it. It sounds interesting.

That's not much like the beat boxing I do.

I Hum and beat box at once.

Well, that makes 2 of us on revora. Have you ever done a gig before? I did my first one last year at a charity event. It was the scariest thing I have ever done. But the crowd loved it. It was an amazing feeling.

I spend a lot of my time beatboxing, almost everyday. When im walking anywhere, when im doing things, in the shower etc. I've started to now sing and beat box at the same time and make other weird sounds that sound good when mixed in with the beat and a hum. I've even started to make my own sounds!

But when people ask me to do it, or I get asked in front of a crowd I'm always reluctant to... almost scared. Even though I know what I can do is impressive.

And why don't you count me? Beatboxing is beatboxing, in my head at least. I haven't practiced in a bit, but I was damn good at my peak...

I know someone who can hum and whistle simultaneously. It's fantastic, I've yet to find anyone else who can do it as well as him.

@Copaman
What could you do?
Any particular beats, sounds, snares, rhythems, combination effects ?

It's very easy to do by the way. It's a technique used when beatboxing.

I was very good at a very deep bass. I was also decent with a snare, and the high cymbals came well to me.

My specialty was a bass which sounded a bit like when you're driving in your car and you crank the bass to +max on the stereo and then play some 50 Cent or Whiz Kahlifa. Maybe a couple of songs from Kanye West off of Graduation would have that kind of bass when you crank it up, and I know that Lil' Wayne's (a.k.a. Weezy) cover of "Paper Planes" by M.I.A. has enough bass from the get-go. Just turn that up enough so you can make it out and you'll be able to hear what I'm talking about. It's hard to explain, but it's a bass where it bottoms out and then vibrates... that's about as close as I can get with words.

I was beginning to produce a record-scratching noice decently, and during the last gig I did with my trio PDR I had been working on the trebel for a song whose name escapes me even though I found it difficult to do and was frustrated when I couldn't nail it right away.

As for beats, you name it, I could probably have done it. I was able to go from a really slow tempo to an extremely fast (read: techno-style) tempo and back again without noticing the difference.

Well, I'd ask you to divulge your wisdom, but I can't whistle! Oh, the bard!

obviously if you can whistle!

By changing the shape of your cheecks and mouth, and producing the hum from the back of your throat you can create that sound

Agreed. Its not very hard to whisle, hum, beatbox, and tap your feet, while playing guitar.

Well, this is irony, for 'ya.

Not irony 'Mr. King of Gondor', I'm a musician and singer.
There is a difference between being talented, and being a 15 year old political compass wearing lunatic.
Your easily tricked that's why you'd think its irony for me to speak my mind, you have no thoughts of your own.
Your obviously just reflecting your parents opinion.
..... Why would you want change unless your somewhere you don't want to be?
& Sadly you seem so unmotivated you cant even hear yourself, without speaking to someone else.
So please don't speak as if you have an answer.

Have you ever done a gig before?

I've sung in front of large groups (never beatboxed though) and everyone love's my voice.
I go to Venice beach from time to time, and always draw huge crowds.
Black people always tell me to bust a beat.

When I meet people who know I can beatbox, it's really hard to get me to do it because I get really self concious about it. I wish I wasn't because I like entertaining a crowd

QFT. Although I have to say that I find it easier to show off than to beatbox in front of people who know I can do it well.
