It's often said that a man should carry in his pockets everything he needs to survive the zombie invasion while rescuing a sexy girl from the volcano base of his nemesis. Well.. spare change at least.

What would you put in your zombie survival ninja tool kit?

The container of these items will be a small roll-out cloth (maybe plastic, but not loud metal) bag. About the size of a dvd case - yours might be smaller or bigger.

So far i've got:
- small negative screw driver
- paper clips
- lighter
- 1p coin
- small mirror
What else should i add?

Powerful torch. You can combine it with the mirror and look around corners. Genious :p

Gillette Fusion Power razor, for that perfectly close shave. Otherwise she won't want anything to do with you once you've rescued her. Also, burglar's tools. Lockpicks, small crowbar, diamond cutter. And maybe a rope, but that won't fit in your bag. You'll have to wear it looped over your shoulder.

Also, moved to Spam. You've got to admit it, this is spam.

Good idea, maybe with a red filter too, so you don't lose your night vision.

The other replys were good, it's only you who made it spam.

List so far (some added from other forums i asked in):
- small negative screw driver
- paper clips
- lighter
- 1p coin
- small mirror
- box cutter/knife
- torch light
- small plastic bottle of vodka
- string
- condom
- Selotape
- Bluetack

Would you really take extra batteries? Maybe if it was an LED torch using button batteries i would, but i'd leave AA out. Because of the bulk, weight and noise.

Firstly, batteries don't weigh much and aren't very big. Secondly, they don't make any noise if you keep them in the packaging until you use them. I'd have said they're a very valuable possession in this sort of situation. If your torch dies, you can't see. If you have spare batteries then you're OK again.

Your toolkit should fit in your pocket, including the cloth or plastic container. If you have AA batteries and the cardboard packing they came in, they will take up loads of space.

Take them out of the packing?
And some torches are AAA, or some take those small circular batteries. But I think batteries is a definate.

Tell you what, lets change it. How about a wind up torch? They are the same size as a normal torch, they use super bright LED's and it wont run out of juice. Problem solved.

Surely that depends on the size of your pockets? A trenchcoat, for example, would have more and larger pockets than a regular jacket, as would combat trousers when compared to jeans. It seems nobody has taken the concept of one's apparel into account.

The windups, in my experience, aren't as reliable and if they run out on you it's even harder to get it going again. You have to make a lot of noise and generally become unaware of your surroundings. In which case, the torch won't help at all.
I'd probably carry an anti-diarrhoea tablet or two, like Immodium. Just in case, and because your diet on canned food and degrading leftovers will give you an upset stomach. I'd prefer calm and overall not-distracting bowels, thank you very much.

Aspirin. A whole fucking bottle. It cures all.

You can't fit rope in your pocket, but you can fit a fifty-foot length of parachute cord. Good stuff'll hold at least 100 lbs.

If you bring the one ring to rule them all and in the darkness bind them, I might just have to bring the two ring. It's slightly better.

My toolkit so far:

The red box is a sewing kit.

It's all far to big and bulky atm. The tape wont even fit in my pocket. I also need a bag to hold it all.
