Ok I have extracted the mod folder to "C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Lord of the Rings, The Rise of the Witch-king

And heres the information about the shortcut: Target: "C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Lord of the Rings, The Rise of the Witch-king\lotrbfme2ep1.exe" -mod "C:\RJ_RotWK"
Start in: "C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Lord of the Rings, The Rise of the Witch-king"

When I run the shortcut its the same thing nothing has changed! What is the problem?

The folder "RJ-ROTWK" should be directly in your C drive. Try moving it to C and then deleting the "RJ-ROTWK" folder in your Program Files area.

If that doesn't work, make sure that your vanilla ROTWK is patched to 2.01 (NOT unofficial 2.02).

Hi, i am new to this hole forum thing but, I just recently downloaded the RJ ROWTK mod but after i win the mission in Morria, i cant get the RJ war of the rings mode to work, every time i click on a WAR OF the rings mode it crashes almost three minuets latter while i am trying to pick which good faction to be. How do i solve this and if i need to uninstall the mod how do i do it? Also, during the non linear campign do i have the ability to control the armies of all the good factions at once? Also, I have read so many things about the bugs in this game so i was wondering if anyone could give me step by step direction for how to play the good campign, both linear, and non linear withthout the game craching? I am very impressed with this mod and cant wait for the next version to come out, and if i my make a suggestion, perhaps it would be good to have mission where the elves must defend the capital of mirkwood through ambushing their enemies. please reply soon. I hope this is the right forum category.

Easy, Don't play the campaign in the mod, use your patched un-modded version if you wanna play the campaign

To play the non-linear campaign, go to War of the Ring mode, select the RJ scenario, and choose your faction as Gondor. Move the Fellowship into Moria to begin.

I am reffering to the RJ-ROWTK mod campign. After the mission to Moria I try to click on RJ war of the ring mode which is suposed to be this mod's non linear part of the campign. Every time i try this it always crashes. I really would like to play the campign of this mod, so how do i prevent the mod from crashing? Every time i try to do the non linear camping the computer always crashes.

It's in C:/Users:/*Your Name*/App Data/Roaming/My bfme files, or something.


Though you shouldn't need that for the most recent version. Just extract the whole mod folder to C and extract the shortcut to desktop.
