Yes I believe some Fire lord or whatever cursed him and made him evil? Though i suggest you ask Ridder Blauw about that

Thats because he is soooo evil If you look closely you should be able to see it a bit

Seriously, they do look a lot alike, and ingame it would be hard to quickly identify them.

Cursed men or bears or whatever usually do look similar, my tip for telling these 2 apart are their weapons
Their clothes are similar, their faces are different, but you dont really see that quickly
One has a hood and another has hair, but both are black so thats kinda hard too
This will make fighting vandas even more difficult
You can always just put your mouse over them and see their name

Add different fx to each of their staff so people can tell them apart.
