Helix Chopper for RA2?

:oops: Sorry, guess my temper flared. :oops:

I now restate my problem:
My helix does fire everything. Just that the helix only got into range of blackhawkcannon to fire it. It didn't attempt to get into range of the garrisoned guns inside the helix. Again I apologize to my temper. :oops:

Lolz, that is was so simple. And if you'd tried opentopped=yes on the NightHawk, you'd have known it was something in the weapon :lol: .

reminds me of the hornet launcher for the Aircraft Carrier. The BattleFortress uses a 20mmRapid, so garrison weapons are only in range on 20mmRapid ?

Actually when commanded to attack an unit with such coding the unit will move to the distance what the 20mmRapid has which is in most cases shorter ranged than the troops guns inside the unit are... as its opentopped you can actually fly it around without actually commanding it to attack, when enemies in range of the troops inside they should fire...

Fixen, I think I know how to fix your problem with the rotors not spinning when there's no command. It's got to do with the movement type of the helicopter. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the helicopter you made is using the movement type of the Seige Chopper. Maybe you need to change it to the same movement type of the Blackhawk. Your helicopter will land, and the blades will stop. But when you order it to move, the blades will start again. Maybe you don't want to do this, as you want it to stay in the air. In that case maybe use the movement type of the Kirov (unless that's the same as the Seige Chopper).

Just mix the coding of kirov and siege choppers and dont specify the deploy stuff besides the main tag..DeployToLand=yes and it works perfectly. won't land and rotors keep spinning all the time even when not in movement.
