One.Nope. If it goes too far off topic, it will be pruned, regardless of content. If it's nonsensical gibberish (see most of medalmonkeys posts for an example), then those posts will be deleted. If the posts are entertaining or useful, they'll be split to a new thread, keeping the original thread open for its intended use.If it's a live thread with some bad off-topicness, then I agree. If a thread goes too far off topic, it will be pruned.
However, if a thread is dead anyway, and it turns into a somewhat funny or interesting converstation, I'd say leave it be.And yet, hypocritically, I won't tolerate anyone trying to be the next Caspa. That's the last thing the board needs right now, and being fully honest, it shouldn't have been tolerated back when it was my time.Rather ironic, considering he was one of those who used to fill it up with junk. His job is to keep the central forums such as this one, Open Topic, etc. clean and friendly.
Two.Go ahead and do it. Considering I've already made my position on dealing with anyone attempting to be the "new Caspa" very clear, it'll give me something to do.Or possibly we could have tryouts! Have a bunch of people who might be good as the new Caspa try out, and we decide which should be.

Don't lie, you're just making it worse.I did, I just didn't notice those...
You can't possibly read a whole topic, fully, and say that 'you didn't notice'. Don't give us that bullshit, we aren't stupid.
Congratz, Caspa, I never knew it'd ever happen.

No, it means exactly that. Generally, you will receive a permanent or temporary ban if you reach 100% but unfortunately it wasn't always enforced. What do warns do, anyway? Is it just that, or does it actually mean something besides you're on a short string?
My Political Compass
Sieben Elefanten hatte Herr Dschin
Und da war dann noch der achte.
Sieben waren wild und der achte war zahm
Und der achte war's, der sie bewachte.

As DLotS said, they're simply that. What he forgot to mention is that along with a warn, we can opt to suspend your posting or even your entire account for as long as needed. What do warns do, anyway? Is it just that, or does it actually mean something besides you're on a short string?
They tend to go away after we've watched the behaviour of those on a warn improveActually, you can be warned 100% and not banned. I think they do go away after a while, though. Not altogether sure, having never really used the option.
Thought I'd have that here to save time.

Nobody could accurately immitate Caspa's way of harassing new people. He used words sure to baffle the average (are there actually any here?) to lesser minds and good grammar. He also never used strange ways of communicating.Or possibly we could have tryouts! Have a bunch of people who might be good as the new Caspa try out, and we decide which should be.
