...OPness? ;)
I mean, look at the numbers:
60 damage for normal arrow,
80 damage for an arrow wind
Then.....
200 damage for a Hawk stike arrow?! For a level 1 power?!
See what I mean?

It's fine, what with the splash damage and all.

No fuel left for the pilgrims

(Sigh) Well, I guess his price balances his technique out, but still.

Personally, I do not feel that the Hawk Strike makes Legolas OP. His price, the splash damage, and other factors more than make up.

And if any of the numbers seem suspicious, investigate them. If you notice an error, point it out! ;)

It's great to see everyone really active on this; good progress all!
Uhh I just downloaded TEA 0.9 so I'm going to go investigate some balancing stuff and see if there is anything that you guys have missed (not likely though). I just have to re-install BFME and I'll get to it :p
After all this time, I decided I'd start playing BFME 2 again; after all, it's one of the few games I keep coming back to.....even three-four years after it was made.....
Anyway, my computer has been upgraded; it's just a graphics card, but it's a HD Radeon 4870. How's that for gaming love? I can run Crysis on high at 60fps, maybe at highest (I haven't checked) and the rest of my computer is still actually pretty good; so I'm happy.

Anarchy is so stupid......see IM A REBEL!

Im a lover of footy now, and I can't wait to watch Jarryd Hayne the superhuman and Fuifui Moimoi the tongan bulldozer play in the Four Nations cup. WOOT Hindmarsh is gonna play for Australia now, even with a broken shoulder! Woot he's crazy.

Elven spearmen need a major boost, especially against cav. They're the only spearmen to be trampled in formation, and for being the most expensive in both resources and cp, that's just wrong. A slight increase in armour against cav melee might be needed as well.

Are you sure about this? When I look at the ini file, they have the same crush revenge attack power and formation bonus as the Gondor Tower Guards. They also have 10 more hit points and get 30 more attack power points when upgraded to forged blades then the Tower Guards get. Their armor is also slightly better than the Tower guards. If anything, they're the superior pike unit.

Also, check the first post for some new additions.

Yes, I know they are trampable even in formation. I kept complaining about that to Ringy :)
You'd be surprised how much of a difference that makes. They'll get hit a couple times before they even get back up.

Well, what do you recommend? :) They cannot be invincible against horses. Do the Isengard pikemen get knocked down? I'm pretty sure they do.

Not in formation, they don't :ohmy:
At least I don't think they do... I'm pretty sure the Elven spearmen are the only ones to be trampled in formation :p

But like I said, their coding is identical to the Tower guards in terms of formation bonus. ;)

Also, just checked the Isengard pikemen in their ini files. Nothing special for them either. :p

Well, this makes no sense. According to the ini, Tower Guards and Spearmen should only get +50% armor, and -40% speed. But ingame, they get the old +80% and -75%. I'm confused :p
WTF has Cel done here? :ohmy:

In-game. They're much slower than in 1.03.

Blargh. We need to get together and test all this crap one day :ohmy:

Wierd... so are the Elven spearmen slower than the tower guards in-game currently (in formation)?

EDIT: Wait, Cel forgot to add this in the Elven horde wall formation code:
UsePorcupineBody = Yes;
UseSlowHordeMovement = Yes;

That may fix the issues we are having.
