All I can remember is I had an Articuno with Mind Reader and Sheer Cold. For those of you to whom that means nothing, it's a garunteed (unless you faint) 2-Hit KO.

...Neither of those two moves is in the originals or the second era.

One of my friends had a group of 4 lvl 100 guys, and I always ended up owning at least three of them with a level 85 Ho-Oh. He was never very smart, and always swapped out decent, acceptable moves for the really powerful ones. It was ironic because he always ran out of PP, and I had Recovery and Fly, meaning that he hardly ever hit me and then I just Recovered if he did.

Ohh, memories...Yeah, I always loved Pokemon Crystal. Though now I've moved on to games with much better gameplay, not that I don't love turn-based combat, but...I mean, it was so corny sometimes. And plus, no death. Just fainting. I really think it got ridiculous after Crystal, though. Still, I wasted a lot of time playing Crystal...

I remember when I used to play Pokemon. I got over it and now I have MTG Online III, 3 different decks of MTG cards which is actually a lot considering the fact that I never get money to buy them, and I've got Magic the Gathering: Battlegrounds for X-Box.

Hello everyone. I am back.

When i borrowed the game i had whatever the water/ground starter was
(its the smartest choice, its being part ground removed waters electric weakness), it had some powerful moves when it evolved, and could beat electric types easy cause of its ground type, i remember it had earthquake, tidal wave(or whatever it was called, made a big wave) that really strong tackle that hurt you a bit, and some other move i cant remember now :thumbsupsmiley:
and i got that mushroom thing, that paralyzed people when they hit it most of the time.

They're the only two i remember, although, i think i had the game twice(once i didn't beat it before i gave it back, so i did it again) and had those 2, but different other ones.

I have pokemon emerald and fire red on an emulator (I don't have a game boy :crazed: ) and it is a little boring because in emerald version I can't capture HO-HO, Lugia or Deoxy without using cheats. ( I don't know if it is possible to get those pokemon in an emulator without to use cheats. If it is possible please some one who knows tell me)

Pokemon was once good, but it fell from glory years ago. It's trying to come back... but it'll fail.

But seriously, what the F***!? What they are doing is mad. I agree with the topic-maker... they're high. I want what they're having :p. Kidding :crazed:.

Hack it.

I know the new generation (D/P) mostly sucks. It seems that they're stuck on ideas, only 44 lines out of all their new pokemon are actually new, the rest are all prevos or evos.

I remember back when there were only a few versions and 2 generations. My parties looked like this:
RED/YELLOW/BLUE/GREEN (One of my Japanese friends got me it)
Dragonite
Alakazam
Gengar
Mewtoo (sp?)
Charizard
Aerodactyl

I also had a Kabutops, Omastar and all legendary birds, but I used the others here:
SILVER/CRYSTAL/JADE (got this from the same friend)/GOLD
Dragonite
Omastar
Kabutops
Entei
Suicune
Espeon

I also use, on occasion (depending on my opponenents) Umbreon, Venasaur, the earlier legendaries, Raikou, Lugia, Ho-oh, Gyrados, Togetic and Lapras.

All are level 100 and I have spent, regretably, over 2000 hours overall on all the games I have. Anyways, I have since retired and thrown my Gameboy in a box.

Verbal warning this time, CIL, if someone else hasn't got to you already. That post is a straight-up flame and nothing more. You ever do it again I'll give you a week's ban on the spot, just so you're aware. This guy hasn't done anything to piss you off, or anyone else, so don't just insult him for no reason.
I hope I am a good enough writer that some day dwarves kill me and drink my blood for wisdom.
