He'll have to decide on doing it that way, or not though. If he edits it, he'll have to copy an already existing AI, then edit everything..
For T4A I simply used Isengard upgrades for the units, so I wouldn't have to change upgrades every time :thumbsupsmiley:

Helm's Deep last Hope it's Rob38's popular map-mod.

Would you apologize for saying that when I said: "It is another big project"?
If the above post offended you in any way,
please take note that, until further notice, I don't care, so get lost.

Nah ,don't meant to be rude ,but I know that mod , but it was the surname of the mod which had deceived me , "HDLH" , but I knew the mod before , I didn't know that HDLH was short for Helms Deep Last Hope ,so I don't apologize bc it was a mistake.....
It's been a while I know it is a big project , longer than you think ....

It's actually running smoothly right now. Besides the Elven AI, I'll be making tweaks to the other factions (mainly adding in the new units/heroes). I'm also implementing some surprises. :)

EDIT: Hurray, HDLH is being discussed in TEA's forums! :p My robot world domination is almost complete! :thumbsupsmiley:

Don't the other factions already use the new units and heroes?

Don't know. At the very least, they will function better. :thumbsupsmiley:

You have soo little posts Rob..

Anyways, I was scared when you said "mainly adding in the new units/heroes", because I though that one of the main focuses on the CE was to not do that.
Then I came to the conclusion that you were indeed talking about the AI, which I'd say, is rather needed in the CE :thumbsupsmiley:

It did sound like I was adding in some new units/heroes to the game. :thumbsupsmiley: Just to clarify, that will not be happening.

Seems interesting, Elven AI shouldn't be made too hard though, the Elves seem deadly enough. ;)

hi all. i think Not only Al for elven should be added to this mod but also new Al function for all other groups.
becuase they are ( hard mod ) has become very easy to defeat for bfme players. and also they are all doing repetitive
things. AND another bug that i think should be fixed is that isengard must be able to explode the planted bombs.
there is another thing, running the game with this new version of TEA causes lags and some unexpected errors even with high-quality system. thnx

Being able to work with both the BfME1 and BfME2 AI, I personally feel that the BfME2 AI is far superior. I heard people say that the BfME1 AI is better, but I wonder if they know what they're talking about. How many have truly worked heavily on both AI's?
