Bio: Harnasson was a dwarf of the Grey Mountains, whose hatred for Orcs led him to quickly join the hosts of Durin's folk in the War of Dwarves and Goblins. He was slain by the bodyguard of Azog near the gates of Khazad-Dum. Harnasson left behind only his son Ignir, who was more enamoured with the working of metals than the arts of war, though he harboured a great loathing for the Orcs for the death of his father. When the goblins began to infest the the Grey Mountains again, he moved his halls and house to the Ered Luin after a long trek that saw him look upon the halls of Khazad-Dum and dreamed the dream of truesilver. Passing through the Gap of Rohan he eventually moved though the land of Hollin, seeing in its pass the workings of the ELven-smiths and their strong friendship with his kin of Khazad-dum.
Once in the Blue Mountains, he carved out the halls of his house, which were by no means majestic but demonstrated the intricacies of his craft. Ignir became greatly skilled in the working of lesser metals and stone, forging weapons of great repute and fixtures of great beauty. He hungers however for some more fitting challenge, and to work truesilver as his ancestors once did.
Ignir is slow to anger, and is a shrewd prospector. When presented with a challenge he will asess it carefully before making a decision, as he has come to believe that the wars of Thrain were rash and his father rushed off ill-advisedly to battle. This caution is tempered by his lingering hatred for all things orcish.
Race: Dwarf of Eriador
Age: 219
Physical appearance, notable features: Ignir is short but well-built after spending a hundred years working steel and stone. His beard is long and elaborate, with plain but exquisitely crafted ornamentation - for each work of master craftsmanship he has produced he has added one small clip, braid or stud. He wears a dwarven travelling cloak, underneath this is a haberk of interlocking scale mail forged of steel and inlaid with bronze designs. The resot of Ignir's garb is leather and cloth, made for travelling and ease of use.
Height: 4'8"
Weight: 200 lb?
Weapons
Ranged: none
Melee: a long-handled mattock and a short, beautifully engraved hand axe
Allegiance and kingdom of origin: Allied to the Dwarves of Ered Luin
Still haven't decided what he would be doing around Rivendell, but I'll figure that out later

I really don't do requests and my Arnor Soldier is not fit for BFME. Don't ask me for either.

We've got tons of people now, I don't think we'll need an army

Also, some things with pretty much all the characters will need to be ironed out, but I'll take care of that individually.
Before that though... if the Admin/Mod/Power-Abuser that Locked this Topic would please contact me and explain their reasoning, I'd really appreciate it

You don't *have* to start off in Archet, if Nertea wants to join the group by Rivendell, he is free to do so.*Cough Archet Cough*

Oh, he means that! I thought he meant we were starting at Rivendell. Sorry for that.
Hm....My backstory is a little odd? I shall look to it again tomorrow...

Or will we be strictly following the path of the fellowship
and will there be a 'splitting of the fellowship'? Like when we split up to follow either Merry and Pippen, Sam and Frodo, the Three Hunters
and will we be able to chose to...stay and defend osgiliath for example, instead of rushing straight to Minas Tirith
So many questions.....so little time....be back again later

Mike and I have some pretty good ideas to stimulate these splits, you'll like them.

Careful. This link is DANGEROUS. Do NOT click it. This one, however, is fine.
I had the meaning of life in my signature, but it exceeded the character limit.

Hmmm you left class options a bit open,
I wanna be a lesser balrog
If not I'd be a converted harradrim or easterling.
If the first one is not OK, Then I'll go with my second choice.

naww why not?How about neither?
If Tolkien had a dwarf convert to the easterlings side, why can't I have a character the other way around?

Anyway.. until I finalize the details about Evil Characters, just make a Good one if you're interested. By that I mean an Elf, Man, Dwarf or Hobbit. Sorry to impose these kinds of restrictions, but it's just one of those things.

I don't know his name but i'm sure Rad can back me up with that.

Regardless.. there were only one or two Balrogs left in Arda by the time this RP is concerned with, and they were sealed in the deepest roots of the Mountains, far away from any contact with anyone. And I severely doubt they were up to reforming their evil ways
As for the reformed Easterling or Southron... well, what would they be doing all the way in Eriador, and how would they have gotten through the bloc of Gondor and Rohan? I'm pretty sure they would have been executed on the spot under suspicion of treachery or being a spy.
