First of all, this RP is semi-scripted, so I don't want anyone warping the plot unless I give them express permission (or, when the plot splits up, when it's your character's storyline). Secondly, I don't want any manipulation of other peoples' characters (see forum policy for the full list of what I consider to be that). That annoys me to no end... Thirdly, let's keep swearing down a minimum. I don't want anybody's little brother peeking over their shoulder and seeing words that will scar them for life. (I'm not really worried about your brothers, but mine are a different matter.)

Fourthly, keep your character's words to something that he would actually say (Elrond wouldn't say "Yo, what's up, dog?" and the Master Chief wouldn't be caught dead saying "Thou" or "thee.") Last of all, don't post things in the main story forum that are nothing but OOC. That annoys me, and I'll delete them so that the forum looks prettier. :p

So, with that said, the storyline will most likely kick off tomorrow, as I have a commitment tonight. Feel free to suggest plot devices, but don't implement any of them until I give the go-ahead. For plot splitting, new topics will be created, so keep the main stuff in here.

Hey, will places from the stories also appear, or just the characters?
cause depending on the answer there are many different possibilities

That would make things very interesting if places from stories appeared as well.

Elrond: "Fo' shiz' my niz'. I got mah Glock, don't go startin any!"

Thank you, IRS, for a good laugh.

"Cortana, where art thou?"
"In thine head, fair and noble knight!"
"Do thou see-eth thine enemies?"
"Aye, Master Chief."
"Then I shall smite-eth them! Prepare for battle!"

The first chapter is up... yes, it IS about time.

We're not bringing in any of the story characters until a bit later on, so make do with your human for now. Happy posting!

You, at 6'. That's decently (read: really) tall for 14 year old, considering he's got a good two to three years of growing out in front of him still.

5'7" is shorter than average for a guy, spot on for a chick. An average guy is about 5'10" full grown, about 5'7" at 14, so I guess that's about right.

@ IRS: Eh, character introductions FTL, man. One liner posts abound, etc.. Do you think you could step in and get 'er movin? ;)

I'll get round to my main post soon enough. It's not right up at the top of my to-do list, but it's getting there. Time is money these days. Incidentally, you should totally have some of the actors from the films we're using show up and be all like "What the f duck? You're me!" when they meet their characters. Like, introduce Mark Hamill to the real Luke Skywalker. :p

EDIT: Edited for consumer-friendliness.
I hope I am a good enough writer that some day dwarves kill me and drink my blood for wisdom.

lol, that actors thing is what i was thinking about before.

Now, i think we should have the park become some chaotic epicenter. The book could be sitting in the middle like a 'core', with reality bending crazyness all around it. From here all the characters and stuff keep appearing out of.

We are driven away/run away, and in the end we have to go back there to find the whole town is all crazy, with places and things from different stories all mixed together in the one place. We have to then go back and close the book or something to make everything back to normal...

Hmm... Nobody seems to be around here. While I'm talking to Arthur, you all get a chance to talk to each other, talk to your characters, explore the keep, wonder what the heck is going on... etc. So get posting! :good:

Out of curiosity, do you think that perhaps each group could return to their homes to move their families to saftey or to collect something they want to have/ need?

Sure, go ahead. Eventually, all of the people of Springville will end up taking shelter in the castle to avoid getting blown up. :)

LOL.

Anyway. Had to get that out of my system :) so, the Two Champions are fighting in the middle of the streets right now amongst a massive horde of whatever-I-feel-like-throwing-in-there -s. I'll probably be moving them with the rest of the part soon enough.

EDIT: That alright?
