I'll do this by book:

Book One: Outstretched Shadow

The first book in the Obsidian Trilogy, The Outstretched Shadow begins in Armethalieh. Here, Kellen Tavadon happens upon three books: The Book of Sun, The Book of Moon, and the Book of Stars. These are the three books of the Wild Magic. Time passes, and the three books are discovered in Kellen's room. Unwilling to renounce his beliefs and destroy the books, Kellen is banished from Armethalieh. Fleeing the Outlaw Hunt, Kellen uses the Wild Magic to "Find" a way to flee the Hunt. This spell calls to Kellen the unicorn, Shalkan. The price for this spell was that Kellen remain chaste for a year and day. Kellen and Shalkan manage to escape the Outlaw Hunt, but Kellen was severely wounded. In the Wildwood, Idalia, Kellen's sister, skilled in healing magic, heals Kellen. For a while, things seem peaceful. Until Armethalieh expanded it's boundaries. The threat of the Outlaw Hunt forced Idalia, Kellen and Shalkan to flee to the Elven Lands, namely the city of Sentarshadeen. Here, it is found that Demon Magic holds back the rain, leaving the Elven Lands in drought. Idalia, Kellen, and the Elves formulate a plan to set free the rain. Soon, Kellen, jermayan and Shalkan are on a quest to find the Black Cairn and destroy the Demon Magic that holds back the rain. Idalia stays in Sentarshadeen to control the weather to prevent the out burst of rain from doing damage. Along the way to the Black Cairn, Jermayan teaches Kellen to use a sword, and thus they find that Kellen is not just any kind of Wildmage; he's a Knight-Mage, seen only in times of war when the Light is threatened by the Endarkened. Again, Kellen uses a Finding spell, and happens upon a strange woman. She bears the looks of a Demon, and yet, has the heart and mind of a human. Vestakia has a gift that out-shines her appearance: she can detect the Demonic Taint. Using this gift, she leads Kellen, Jermayan and Shalkan to the Black Cairn. At the Black Cairn, Kellen confronts Savilla, the Demon Queen. But, rather than giving up his quest, Kellen uses the Keystone Idalia made, and destroys the Black Cairn, thus saving the Elven Lands.

Book Two: To Light a Candle

The second book in the Obsidian Trilogy, To Light a Candle begins after Kellen and Jermayan have returned from the Black Cairn. After a while, the Elven children are evacuated to the Fortress of the Crowned Horns. However, one particular Caravan, carrying the sun of the Elven King, was attacked, and the passengers captured. Kellen, Idalia, Jermayan and Vestakia travel to save the children. The children were taken into a cave where Shadowed Elves, mutations of the Elves, hide. Eventually, the children are all rescued, but Idalia eventually becomes lost, and ends up injured in the caves. Using wildmagic, she uses a snowbat to summon help. The help comes in the form of Ancaladar, a dragon who hails from the time of the Great War. Ancaladar helps Kellen reach Idalia. When he finds her, Kellen heals her, but was not asked for a price, which he found odd. He also found ut another of the Knight-Mage's gifts. The ability to remember terrain, even in darkness. Afterwards, Ancaladar bounds with Jermayan, and Jermayan becomes the first Elven Mage in centuries. Eventually, the Elven King declares war on the Shadowed Elves, who, because of their relation to Elves, can help Endarkened Creatures pass the elven Land Wards. During this, another mage is banished from Armethalieh. High Mage Cilarnen was banished from Armethalieh, after being accused of treason. He seeks out Kellen because of a compulsion placed on him. Before he and Kellen meet, Kellen is far to the north of Sentarshadeen, clearing out another cave of Shadowed Elves. One night, while the Elves made camp, they were attacked, but Kellen, thanks to his Knight-Mage gifts, realized that the attack was a distraction and managed to save another Elven City from destruction. By the time the caves are cleared of Shadowed Elves, Cilarnen and Kellen have met. In the end of the second book, Idalia casts, with the aid of part of the Elven Army, a scrying spell into Armethalieh. During this spell, however, Queen Savilla of the Endarkened attacks. Cilarnen and Jermayan form a shield in front of Idalia to protect her, but the High Magic and the Wild Magic refuse to work together. Then, by sheer force of Will, Kellen keeps the shield together, thus thwarting Savilla's plan.

Book Three: Darkness Falls

The final book in the Obsidian Trilogy, To Light a Candle begins after the scrying spell was cast. Vestakia, having gained the ability to know what he father, the Demon Prince, was thinking, learns that Savilla plans to summon He Who Is, the God of the Endarkened. To thwart this plan, the Forces of Light needed a force of equal power to stop He Who Is from returning. Using ancient talismans and a Place of Power, Idalia summons the Starry Hunt, a force of the Light so powerful that it seals He Who Is from the world again. The Elven Army marches to Armethalieh to try to win the support of the High mages before they fall to the Endarkened. Here, outside the walls of Armethalieh, the Final Battle will occur. Before the battle, the general of the Elven Army gives Kellen the ring that represented the Army as an Elven City. This allowed Kellen to change the centuries old tactics that the elves used, thus giving them an edge in battle. The battle commences, and continues for most of the day. By the end of the day, Idalia sacrifices herself to save the forces of Light. Kellen defeats the Demon Prince, and Savilla is slain as well. The forces of the Endarkened scatter, and, over time, are hunted by the Forces of Light. By the end, Kellen comes to the Fortress of the Crowned Horns, to find that Idalia, who had been killed, was reborn as an elf, a gift from the Wild Magic.

Ok, I'm quite sure I've forgotten something, but I wrote this late at night, so give me a little sympathy.

Can't even type right...
