Eomer, IIRC, was third marshal of the Riddermark. That puts him as the third most important person, and so he was not the ruler. As such, he didn't have a capital!

Ermmm... no. :w00t: Domestic, not militaristic.

The slang is also the name of a brand of facial tissue. :crazed:

A battalion of trebuchets, which he loaded with rocks and wheels of cheese.

Incidentally, what slang term for smoking is a brand of facial wipe?

Never heard of 'Puffs'. I would also never refer to any form of smoking as 'a puff' or any derivative thereof. There are accepted slang terms, and that is not among them.

Was it.... Nothing! It was a trick question, he was never actually there. He just told a load of orcs he was there and they fell into the Isen and drowned. It was a hilariously easy battle. The Isen's a river, right?

Vortigern, despite your complete randomness you are only a small ways off from being right. Yes, the Isen is a river, but the Fords were extremely shallow at the time due to Saruman's damming of the river. When Theoden crossed it after the Battle of the Hornburg, it was down to a mere trickle (since the Ents had diverted it into Isengard). But anyway, Vort is very close...

Other than the fact the Elfhelm showed up in the midst of the battle, so he could not have set up defenses, but instead rushed for the eyot to save those still remaining? If anyone had set up defenses it would have been Theodred or maybe Grimbold.

I think you're thinking about the first battle... since Elfhelm is setting the defenses up, it's the second. :evgr:
