So I, just to be difficult, am voting in favour of Darth Vader, for reasons unknown. Now let's have a new pairing!
I hope I am a good enough writer that some day dwarves kill me and drink my blood for wisdom.

But why would Sauron get chopped to pieces in the first place?
I mean, he is a creature that can be compared to angels! How can a human kill such a being?

Well, one can disable him (Cutting the ring off)

EDIT: New Poll, Glorfindel vs Aragorn

I voted Glorfindel because of his experience and well...his awesomeness ;)

There's the fact that he saw the light and was ZOMGWTFBBQ AWESOME with a sword and had the ability to shield himself from the foul magic of the Balrogs.

SpiderMan

VS

The Flash

For those of you who don't know, Spider Man is our friendly neighbourhood, but-kicking, web slinging Super Hero
While Flash is basically a guy who's really fast

Spiderman all the way. He'll just set up a giant web and the Flash will run really fast straight into it, and will then be royally boned

You know what would have been a much better question and harder to decide too? For those of you who have seen Watchmen, Ozymandias VS Batman.
I hope I am a good enough writer that some day dwarves kill me and drink my blood for wisdom.

But do you like awesome-to-the-max films? Then go watch the Watchmen like any self-respecting awesome person would. Assuming you're old enough, go see Watchmen. If you're not, find a decent version on the internet and watch it that way.

Ozymandias is amazing... I feel kind of sorry for Bubastis, though. It's obvious he's got quite a bit of heroic nobility in him despite the fact that he... but that would be teling CIL, now wouldn't it? :evgr: Of course, his heroism might be why he... you know. I think he would beat Batman hollow in a hard scrap.
