on the thinking of the rafle lift why not have the aircraft carriers auto attack they would be an asset more then just sitting in the ocean doing nothing as enemy artilary moves into position and enemy tanks move towards your base un harassed
i think giveing them auto attack would be more in chracter for an aircraft carrier enemy surface ships come into range all planes scramble immediatly enemy tanks artilary and structures move into range the planes are launched to attack its what usaully happens but if the need arises were u dont want them to attack then you should have the auto pick up targets to work while there deployed and when there undeyployed they shouldnt attack targets and could move freely.
sound any good this would allow the navy to have a greater impact on what procedes in the land battle as it normally would.

Aircraft Carriers imho should only retailate not auto pickup targets with themselves because if they do they will be attacking everything from Subs to Infantry on land. It's a bad idea imho, they are powerful enough u need to micro them.

but thats what they would do sydro they would launch tehre planes against anything and everything they could hit as for subs i sure u could code them other wise

You could make them go into auto-guard but give them a low guard range of around 3, that way they'd automatically attack anything that came within guard range but would have to be manually told to attack targets outside of it.
As most weapons have a range of over 3 then this would make them slightly less vulnerable but not unbalance them overall, and they would follow any unit they picked up, so you could ambush them if their owner wasn't watching carefully enough which is an extra disadvantage to auto-hunt.

I am not going to give the ACCs auto attack, would make them too powerful, I already removed their ability to detect submerged units, they were too powerful with that and auto attack would've made em even mroe powerful.
