Formerly called Kane's Revenge 3.0, this mod will mark the new beginning of CNC gaming and modding and could likely be the biggest comeback of the century in CNC history. For the people who pleaded for a KW mod sdk and was failed by EALA, it appears that CoreAngel, the female modder from the Netherlands, had somehow customized KW source codes and models from KW into CNC3!!!! So much for the KW mod sdk. This is the moment I have been waiting for after I thought I was giving up CNC3 modding for good.

This mod has the latest information from moddb:
http://www.moddb.com...s/kanes-revenge

The mod will contain the mod itself with the first time ever SP mission campaigns (5 of them), its source codes, KW source codes and models, SP mission map tutorial and more!! All of this will be released this March 31, 2009.

I hope this mod will ever revive the CNC modding community back to action, when sadly most of the users went to RA3/Uprising and EALA STILL hasn't released the RA3 mod sdk yet, and where others have given up modding for good.

Uh, we are talking about Coreangel here - I think she once claimed that she had friends working for Bethesda and that they are working on a huge new mod - as proof, she showed some pictures from some TW singelplayer buildings.... :wink_new:
This girl just wants to get some attention for her lame mod, so I doubt she will release anythinhg usefull.

It probaply would be illigeal anyway since it makes buying KW obsolete and you would need to edit the orginal TW exe file, not to mention that it would make mods quite huge since they would need to include all models & codes & sounds from KW and .... hmmm, there are so many flawes in this idea, it is hard to list them all.

PS: Why are you still here, PurpleScrin? The point in banning you was to get you away from here...

You could have said (or the entire CNC3 modding community would have said) that Kane's Revenge should have been epic fail. I don't know if that KW sourcing is true or not because CoreAngel wouldn't have done it all by herself. I know she did not do her mod well in the first 3 releases of Kane's Revenge. This fourth release is renamed to be called Ultimate Revenge.

Since Dark Lord of the Sith is gone, I don't care what would happen next since guests are still allowed to make posts. Besides there's still some information left on CNC modding as well as RA3 modding which is why I am still here. I haven't been on modding for weeks ago as I hit on the mapping part of C&C3/KW.

I guess you guys haven't forgotten why I made a thread about the RA3 Uprising and KW mod sdk that won't be there? That was confirmed by Apoc as a final answer.

You mentioned in a thread you resigned as Network Leader of this forum and now you are a freelancer in the department. However, you still will be sticking around in Revora as a administrator, right? :wink_new:

I am afraid to tell you guys this, but this mod and source codes have been delayed due to uploading problems.

As of right now, the modder has to update them again to Moddb. Yikes... And that will take another week or so when it will be pending again by Moddb.

I found some old evidence from CoreAngel's own moddb website. You won't find this in Google but in Live Search msn: http://kanesrevenge.moddb.com/

It appears that CoreAngel (aka warangel) is the mod leader of Kane's Revenge and has a team working on the mod known as Darksynth Productions. So I knew she did not do the mod by herself.

As for the source codes for this mod and for KW, they could possibly be a prank joke. After that April Fool's day, I am starting to believe that CoreAngel is probably bluffing about the release.

When I saw the words in the topic title stating "will have KW source codes", I instantly assumed it was a fake... I mean, considering the best people in the community have yet to extract much from the encrypted bin/imp/relo/manifest files, what are the chances that this random person has managed to extract the entire XML library?

Also, when you say "source codes", that makes me think more of the source code to an EXE. If that is what you meant... for me to call that a joke would be an understatement...

Right now, this mod is now archived and the mod leader hasn't even came back for an update. Oh, well. Even Darksynth Productions which is responsible for mod projects such as this mod has gone MIA. Perhaps if that production is shut down, so is this mod.
