The characters listed on the nice long lists in the other topic are for everyone's RP'ing enjoyment. Basically, if you know who they are and they're not someone else's character, you are licensed to have some control over them whenever you like, as long as it makes sense in the context (even though this RP is killing context slowly ). Depending on the character, situation, etc. I may even allow you to kill them off from the RP!

Now, as for the killing-off, you're allowed to do that to your main characters, too. If you choose to do so, you can pick new ones to replace them. Now, killing them off is somewhat of an irrevocable thing, so don't do it lightly just because you want to have a different new character.
