I was playing this mod the other day and picked up the ring with aragorn, and noticed that he could USE the ring. All of his ablilities became unlocked and he was only level 3. The consequence of this being that he would slowly die. After using his abilities he did die and the ring was again dropped. So i had Gandalf pick it up and the same option was available. Gandalf had all of his abilites unlocked as well. After that game I have tried with several other gondor heros, like Faramir and Boromir but they can simply carry the ring and not use it. Does anyone have a list of Heros, for good and evil that can use the ring? Ive tried with Sarumon so far but he cant use it either, just carry it. Any information will be appreciated.

Yes, those are the first heroes I'm testing that can "use" the ring. The goal is to have nearly all heroes be able to use the ring and have more abilities where they can use the ring's power. The system is a little complicated so I want to work out all the bugs to ensure that it works correctly.
Gandalf and Aragorn are the only two that can use the ring right now.

wait, when they get the ring, do they just get lvl 10 powers? or do they get diff uber godly ring powers

Currently, when Aragorn or Gandalf procure the ring, they have the option of wearing it, unlocking all their powers as if they were level 10. The idea in mnd is to give Heroes who pick up the ring and use it a different commandset of powers to wield.
